Character Meme: Yato (Noragami)?

This is one of my absolute favourites! *cries*

That under that dorkish and childish act is actually a really wise and serious guy. For real, the best quotes of this manga are all from him! It shows how much of an old god Yato actually is; even with that kind of silly personality he’s still very experienced and thoughtful. He never EVER blames Yukine in spite all his accusations.

I… legit can’t think of much LOL He’s a very likable character and even his flaws add to his charm and to the story. 

Oh man, when Yato released the seal of Nora/Hiro! I don’t know but that gesture carries more and more weight the more we get to learn about their past and their ties to Father. It was really sad but so powerful at the same time - it was one huge turning point of the story for me. The anime version was great but I urge anyone to go read the manga instead PLEASE! This manga is really really good anyway.

I am yet to catch up to the latest chapters but considering how far I have read… Yato’s connection to Father really bothers me. I want Hiyori to become his new lifeline but at the same time it’s such a huge plotpoint, it can easy lead the conclusion to mangao…. LET IT BE FOR NOW I don’t want it to end so soon LOL

Rurouni Kenshin AU!! The entire plotline it so fitting, besides, it has the happy ending I fear Noragmi won’t have. :’)

Fukigen na Mononokean x Noragami! Let Hanae meet the ghosts he fears and Yato be toyed by Yahiko on a constant basis! I’m sure Zenko and Hiyori would get along really really well lol

I feel like we don’t have many options anyway but, yeah, Yato x Hiyori is all over the place. Even in spite the ominous feeling it brings attached.

- I fear this is a forgotten and maybe even a debunked theory by now, but I really enjoy the thought of Yato originally being a huge god, only that he’s been raised by Father and forced to never know the truth in this lifetime of his.

- The revelation that gods can’t feel human-like love makes me wonder if his fondness of Hiyori isn’t simply that this being-worshiped-by-someone thing is so liberating and feels so new to him he’s mistaking things but that’s at the same time that’s so depressing… I want it to be completely wrong… LOL
