Hi, everyone so since tumblr has abandoned the skeleton war era and the Christmas season is rapidly approaching and I’m feeling giddy, I’ve decided to host my own Secret Santa!  I know there are like a trillion of these floating around on tumblr but this is such a cute way to make new friends/get into the holiday spirit. BTW this is not one of those where you send gifts to people’s actual addresses, no worries!

How does it work?

After you enter (see below) you will be sent the name, url, and interests of that said person, then you will be their Secret Santa.  This entails of anonymously sending nice messages daily to that person from December 1st -23rd. On the 24th (Christmas Eve) you will reveal yourself to them. Finally on Christmas day you send them a final gift, chosen by you from the gift list (see below).  Someone will get your url too, so you will also get a SS!

Rules/guidelines:

  • Before joining/participating make sure you are up to the task/meet the requirements.
  • You have to send a message at least 3 times a week, if not daily.
  • The amount of gifts you give your person on Christmas is up to you entirely.
  • Askbox, anonymous, and submission all have to be open throughout this. Or your SS (or I) won’t be able to contact you.
  • Don’t be rude. This is the holiday season, be respectful.
  • You are required to give a final gift on the 25th. If you’re unable to at least send a few extra paragraphs + wish them a merry Christmas!

Gifts List:

  • Fanfiction:

Must be at least 400 words and must relate to their interests/fandom’s.

  • E-gifts:

Electronic gifts sent by email.

  • Greeting cards
  • Books
  • Subscriptions (magazine, Hulu, Netflix, etc)
  • Gift cards

If you chose this gift I ask for you to please ask permission from the recipient first-because you’ll need an email address. 20$ limit.

  • Music playlist:
  • 8 tracks
  • Spotify
  • Youtube
  • Graphics:

Must relate to fandom’s/interests.

  • Fan-art:

Must relate to fandom’s/interests.

  • Poems
  • Video:

Fan made video or video message.

Must be at least 1 minute long.

Important dates:

  1. November 30th- Sign up deadline
  2. December 1st-Secret Santa starts.
  3. December 26th-Secret Santa ends.
