A Simblr where I inconsistently post/reblog a variety of things, mostly sims related but occasionally unrelated content.

I was today-years-old when I saw "the refused makeout kiss on the couch" interaction for first time! I saw pictures in the discord and I immediately decided trying to repeat this in my game.

How have I never seen this?

We interrupt the regularly queued Sims 2 posts to bring you a Caliente Build I just did when I was feeling nostalgic after not playing The Sims 1 in about 10 years.

The house works so well in Sims 1 that this house style being in Sims 2 suddenly make sense to me

So many of the weird basegame houses can probably be explained with either “they were still used to designing for Sims 1″ or “they wanted to show off the new build features Sims 2 was capable of but didn’t really know how to best use them”

Part 1/? of my Strangetown Fancasting

  • Crispin Glover as Loki Beaker
  • Athena Karkanis as Circe Beaker
  • Russel Tovey as Nervous Subject

Behind the Casting

I feel as though Glover has the look as well as the acting chops to bring Stangetown's resident mad scientist to life.

Give Karkanis a short auburn haircut and glasses then bam! An authentic lookalike I feel, bonus that she's also of Greek descent. Unsure of her range but from what I've seen she's a very emotion driven actor and could definitely explore a more sinister range here.

Nervous was a hard one as he has a very distinct visual look, I think Tovey is close in the bounds of realistic human proportions but admittedly I ultimately cast him as having the actor playing Nervous be queer felt like a must.

Hypothetically, how much interest would a Sims 2 premade fanfic have? Just written storytelling sans the usual accompanying screenshots.

'Cause I've got this idea for a mostly Strangetown centred story but know that I probably can't commit to a whole lot of set dressing, posing and photo taking right now.
