How to add falling snow to a gif:

  • Some people requested this.
  • English is not my first language but I’ll do my best to explain the steps :)
  • I use Photoshop CS6.
  • Like/reblog the post if you find it useful.

1- It’s really simple and everyone can do it. First of all select a picture and a transparent gif. These are the gifs I use in my edits. Resize the image, add some coloring,texture etc.

2- Open you transparent gif another section, resize the gif as the first picture. Convert to video timeline and select the last frame.

3- Take your picture and put it to the top of the gif.

4- Select lighten or screen. I usually select the lighten one.

5- After you select screen or lighten, save your gif.

Hello everybody! This colouring tutorial is dedicated to the lovely @jediorgana​ This is my very first tutorial so please bear with me and I hope this is at least semi coherent.  I’ll be showing you how to colour this gif from a set I did a little while ago:

First things first, I used kmplayer to extract the screencaps and photoshop cc 2017 to edit the gif. To follow this tutorial you’ll need a basic understanding of photoshop and knowledge of how to make a gif, but the colouring’s relatively simple so it should be fairly easy.

hello all! as you already know, i promised to release several psds of mine when i hit follower milestone. so here are some of my most used marvel psds.

this psds release consists of 2 vibrant psds and 2 base psds.

reblog / like if you use them or plan on using them.

psd 1: hd vibrant, works with any scene, only thing you can change is selective colors and adjust first levels in case you want to gif darker scenes.

psd 3: vibrant base psd. works with any scene, adjust exposure and color balance depending on the scene.

i do not use psds, but i do go through same process of coloring with every gif that i make, so this psd is usable on all marvel scenes.
it is made for highly contrasted, vibrant, hd gifs. 
if needed, turn off some layers (exposure and levels or tone them down) that i used, play with selective colors and color balance, depending on the scene. 
tip for dark scenes: exposure is very good for contrasting and lighting up the gif, also boost light in levels as much as you can/want.

Hey! So I’ve already done a small tutorial on how I do my really bright/colour porn/colour palette gifs, so I’ll do this more of an example on how I make my regularly coloured gifs, which are pretty vibrant on their own because i love colour!

Now, I’m not going to go through the entire gif making process. I’m going to go on the assumption that you know how to grab your screencaps, load them into photoshop, create your timeline and do your cropping/sharpening. If you don’t, @jakegyllenhaals has a VERY detailed tutorial here, including proper gif sizing.
