tracy chapman really unlocked something with fast car. you cant listen to fast car without Feeling. every person who has ever and will ever listen to fast car has felt the same feeling as every other person who has or will listen to it. fast car is an experience. it should be listed in the dsm5. felt too much while listening to fast car.

People Matching Artworks: An Unusual Photo Series By Stefan Draschan More info: Website | Instagram…

I was really hoping these weren’t staged and the artist just spends weeks in art galleries and days in front of paintings to make these

Well guess what… That’s exactly what he did!

These are just some of the many ways members of the LGBT community identify themselves in a beautiful photo series from San Francisco-based photographer Sarah Deragon.
Deragon’s “The Identity Project” has taken her around the country as she “seeks to explore the labels we choose to identify with when defining our gender and sexuality.” Her portraits show the amazing diversity and vibance of a queer community that for too long has been defined by outsiders.

I made this graphic because I feel like people don’t understand how hurtful it is when they say “the A stands for Ally” or “the A also stands for Ally”. I also don’t think people fully see the damage of what they’re doing when they say it. You are literally crushing people/pushing people out of the way so that YOU can be recognized for being an Ally. Well guess what, being and Ally doesn’t mean you get some sort of special recognition. It doesn’t mean that you can push others out of the way so that you can be in the limelight. It means that you LISTEN to our struggles, that you EDUCATE other people, and that you ADVOCATE for our equality. So if you find yourself saying this: Stop, the A stands for Agender, Asexual, and Aromantic. And by not recognizing this you are not only NOT being an Ally but you are also actively oppressing us.
