The Issue of Catalonia

Idk if any of you who read this are aware of what is happening right now in Catalonia, Spain. Basicly, spanish juridic system sentenced 9 catalan political figures to between 9 and 13 years of jail (which is almost the same as murder and more than rape). When all they did was doing a referendum! Also they ALWAYS asked the people to be nonviolent. Even when policeman started hitting us, and hurting us, we didn't start any violent demonstration.

Now we (the people) are staring a nonviolent movent to protest against this vengance. We colapsed Barcelona's airport El Prat yesterday and had a bunch of flies cancelled.

Today, we paralitzated the trains and the most important highways and we stopped the traffic for hours on the most important street of BCN, to light candles and drop the way on the floor (this way it will take two days to take the wax out so the cars can run again).

A few hous ago, the police started fireing rubber bullets (which is very much forbiden in Catalonia). So people started fires between us and the police to keep them away. Fireman haven't arribed yet.

But media aren't covering that at all, they just play a video of a fascist woman getting hit once (which I am strongly against btw) and forget about the 70 people that were hurt by cops yesterday. We still don't know how many of us were hurt today...

This is not about independence or politics, this is about our human rights. So we are not stopping until our legitimate leaders go out of jail, and can come back from exile.

Yesterday my town suffered this.

We gathered at Barcelona's El Prat airport on Monday in response to the jailing of nine Catalan leaders.

They hit us and the king keeps saying that Spain is a democracy. We only want to vote, we are peaceful people. We don’t deserve this.

It isn’t. Is a fascist state.

The world has to known the truth, and this is the truth.

Citizens of this small town in Catalonia made a human mosaic to ask the European Union to intervene and tell Spain to stop using this blatant police brutality against the Catalan people.

Nobody is doing anything, people in my country are celebrating, fans of this current president are saying this is a good thing for the country and the world, they are laughing about it. Where is the commotion, where are the people crying like they did for Notre Dame, this forest is the life of the world, this forest is our air, the home of many natives, where is the commotion, where are the journalists, where is the news. Jesus fucking Christ, spread the news, talk about it, debate about, alarm people around, do something, because in my country, we don't know what to do anymore, we are desperate. I know that people elected this guy, but there are people in this country that don't deserve this, that place, that forest is our oxygen, is the home of a thousand of animals, innocent people, help us. This is urgent
