Hi!! I go by May instead of Carolyn because it's shorter and easier to pronounce haha. Also my INFINITE bias list is very simple 1. Woohyun& Sungyeols 2. Sunggyu,Dongwoo,Hoya, Myungsoo, Sungjong It's easy to rank them because I love them all so much haha

30 Sweater and Jeans - D&E
I’m basically trash for this entire album but this one just stood out to me the most among all of the tracks
29 Kim Sunggyu - Kontrol
One amazing thing that happened this year was Sunggyu releasing his new album!! I just love the kind of synth sound in the background and all of the sets in the music video were so pretty!
28 Seventeen - Adore U
Seventeen are a group that I’ve heard about a lot the past 3 years but this year when they finally debuted they completely took me by surprise (I think a lot of people feel this way about them tbh). This song is just so cute and fun and so easy to listen to!
27 SHINee - View
SHINEE CAME BACK TO KOREA THIS YEAR TOO AND IT WAS GREAT. I love everything about both the normal and the repack of this album but sadly MTTM didnt quite make the Top 30 on my list. Also Minho looks amazing here.
26 2PM - Our House
My favorite JYP song released this year and my favorite 2PM song in a couple of comebacks. I feel like JYP is starting to care about them more again which is so nice! I loved the Cinderella feel of this music video and the boys all looked so handsome in suits!
25 Rainbow - Black Swan
When I was looking at my list this song surprised me mostly because i hadn’t heard it in awhile but its seriously addicting and was a really nice change from stuff they’ve released in the past!
24 INFINITE-H - Pretty
INFINITE-H X Brand New was such a smart move by Woollim. This album is flawless and I really like this music video. It shows off H’s goofy hip hop style while still keeping with the same cute feeling we got from their first album
23 BTS - Run
Do you see how fast this song made it to my top favorites of this year??? Thats how much I love this album. More on this later, but both parts of this album are perfect and I love every song between the two.
22 Yella Diamond - Interstellar (Feat NM)
I became trash for No Mercy and MX this year. This isn’t even close to the last NM or MX song so I won’t even say anything else right now. This song made me like Hyungwon’s voice though.
21 BAP - Young,Wild, Free
BAP have made me an emotional wreck this year. I dont think I’m ever going to get tired of this song. This album reminded me why they’re in my top 5 for boy groups. Also Uppie’s vocals in this album give me life.
20 RV - Ice Cream Cake
My favorite song from RV so far. This just gives off the kind of cute quirky concept they try to go for most of the time the best. The Red was a good album and overall as an album I prefer that over the ICC album however ICC is their most solid title track so far imo.
19 AOA - Heart Attack
My favorite brave brothers song this year!! Which wasnt hard to do but still, this came out during the summer and I love it so much. My girls look flawless.
18 Monsta X - Trespass
My favorite rookie group hands down this year. Male or female. But you probably already knew that. I feel like I raised them myself and both of their albums were so good I feel like I’m going to be listening to them for a long long time. Still upset they changed No Exit so much on this album..
17 Giriboy - Zero (Young)
(Of course I chose this clip to use in the video) every time I hear this song I think about the lines that were supposed to be Wonho’s and I shed a tear. Also this song launched my love/hate relationship with Giriboy’s music.
16 MYNAME - Too Very So Much
Another surprise on my list, but MYNAME made a really solid comeback this year so it definitely couldnt be overlooked!! Also P.S their Japanese songs are so good please love that a lot as well
15 INFINITE - H I’m Busy, Sorry
I have this thing when it comes to INFINITE H albums where the title track usually isn’t even close to my favorite track on the album. Its been almost a year since this came out and I still dont know how to skip it on my shuffle. Its just that good.
14 VIXX - Chained Up
VIXX’s 2nd full length album!!! This album had everything I wanted from VIXX and was a nice comeback after having Ravi and Leo promote as a unit (which was also amazing).
13 Lovelyz - Hi~
Lovelyz was going to be on here somewhere haha. After all of their amazing releases this year it was to be expected haha. I listened to this song so much when it came out. Its so refreshing and all of the girls look so beautiful (still sans Jisoo here unfortunately)
12 SUJU - Devil
10 years with these losers and they’re still releasing amazing music! This album made me so emotional. Especially now since so many of them are in the army :( But while its not #1 I’m so proud of this album and Magic as well.
11 XIA - Take My Hand
Junsu is always giving off musical vibes in his videos and I love it! There are so many different ways to interpret this music video. Also Tablo and Junsu sound flawless together.
10 Shinhwa - Sniper
Because their past few releases are amazing. I always expect not to like their songs (i dont know why) and I always end up loving them. This music video is simple yet beautiful and I really like that too.
9 Cross Gene - Play With Me
A fun thing I learned about myself this year was that I’ve been in love with Cross Gene for years but wouldnt acknowledge it. You should see the amount of plays I have on their older songs….its ridiculous. I honestly went through a month where all I wanted to listen to was Cross Gene…and this was in like…October.
8 Boyfriend - Bounce
Boyfriend have been getting better and better every comeback (at least in my eyes) and this sort of Alice and Wonderland theme was really amazing to me. I wish they wouldnt push Youngmin and Kwangmin together so much to make them seem like one person. But we cant get everything we want can we?
7 Madtown - New World
Sons out of the songs they released this year…actually out of everything they’ve ever released thus far this is my favorite song. Its vocal focused while still giving Buffy and Moos a chance to shine with their raps and DAEWONS LINES. This is the song that made me change biases in this group actually…
6 Nochang - Hieut (Ft. NM)
You thought I was done with NM? No no no. They completely destroyed me this year. 100%. When this music video came I cried because Gun and Yoonho are still here. I miss them both so much. But Nochang did an awesome job with this song I’m so glad they released the music video for this.
5 Big Byung - Ojingeo Deonjang
I dont know what this is doing here. They arent a real group. This isn’t a real song. Ignore me.
4 MC Mong - Love Mash
This might seem about as random as #5 but trust me its impossible to be sad while listening to this song. Its so goofy and fun. I showed you the second chorus clip because thats where it becomes less focused on the girls and more focused. MC Mong is hilarious
3 D&E - Growing Pains
I said when this was my top song of the month that this song is 100% flawless and I still stand by those words. I went through a period of time where I forgot about this song (during the Summer when things were insane) but I rediscovered it in October and its been on repeat again ever since. If they ever release another Korean albums its going to be tough to beat this.
2 INFINITE - Bad
…..Please dont be surprised by this if you know me at all. I CANT BELIEVE IM SEEING THEM LIVE IN JANUARY.
1 BTS - I Need U
The greatest gift I received this year during both of my finals weeks were Part 1 and Part 2 of these albums. Seriously BigHit has amazing timing because new music during finals week = very very happy (and arguably more productive) May. I’d like to thank this song for motivating me study 13 chapters of General Chemistry in 4 days last semester. All jokes aside this whole 2-part release this year was the best thing BTS has done to date and it makes me so excited for their next project whatever it might be.

woolim has stated that the rumors about jisoo being an abuser were false and were only to hurt her after investigation. bc of that, the two ppl who photoshopped the “evidence” were penalized and fined. this is the reason why jisoo is now promoting with lovelyz.
