Ginger strands fell from their tucked spot behind the girl’s ear as she tilted her head, giving the heiress a raised brow and a small smirk. Though some people would think Nora to be someone of vague observation, she paid attention to minor details. She saw that lip quiver, and a sigh left her as she thought over Weiss’ words. Lifting a hand, she gently flicked the other’s forehead and then placed her hands on her hips.
“Weiss, y’er gonna get wrinkles and gray hair before you turn twenty-five.”
She stated, a light laugh filling the air around them.
“Ever heard of the saying, ‘every time a kid breathes, an adult dies?’ Maybe if you take a moment to breathe for once, the problems you’ve been having with Schnee-Stache with die off.”
As usual, Nora spoke what was on her mind and held nothing back. That habit often got her bad vibes, but she rode the waves and went with it. With a confident step, she moved closer to her friend and placed her hands on the pale girl’s cheeks.
“Weiss Schnee, your team needs you. Not some empty shell that has one goal and one goal only that ends in something so trivial as keeping your last name on high hills. Live your life for once, stop thinking about the consequences. You’ve already gone against your dad, what’s a few more times?”

He deadpanned at her ‘explanation’ and try for colors, magenta looking into sky blues. “Nora, that is an incredible reach. Besides, who would truly take us seriously if we introduced ourselves as Team JNRR? They’d look at us and laugh. The underestimation isn’t good. We want to be taken seriously. And I mean new as in we’ve never been there. Reading about them and experiencing them are two different things.”
The girl raised a brow at her partner, waiting for his response to her brilliant genius-ness.
“Oh, please! How do you think Team CFVY feels? People probably think they’ll have coffee when they come to save the day, but they have nothin’ but a can of Butt Whoopin’! We just need to be like that- it surprises our enemies and gets them off guard! If they think we’re a joke and we give them a swift sucker-punch in the face, they’ll never underestimate us again!”
Shows up with Starbucks.
Nora might’ve gotten too excited at seeing the drinks in her partner’s hands- seeing as she needed something to boost her energy. They had been studying for some tests and the normal electricity that ran through her was just dead.
“Bless your soul!”
She chirped, nearly tackling the poor guy and pressing a overly happy kiss to his cheek. With an innocent look on her face, she took the drink he had outstretched to her before she attacked him.
“Oh my go- hot chocolate. May the sunshines smile on you, Ren.”
The ginger muttered, wide eyed with contentment. She was grateful that her friend knew her so well.

The ginger sighed as she looked around at the friends she still had. That crazy guy came out of no where- Nora was still shook up and jumpy. But a side of her felt she didn’t have a right to be this bothered- she wasn’t Ruby, the one who nearly got killed. Ruby had been talking with the man who came to JNRR’s rescue for awhile, and Nora looked over Jaune and Ren as they took a breather. Eventually the guy left, she assumed to scope out the area, and the girl felt the same anxiety she had during the fight.
Her feet stayed still for a second, before she ran towards Ruby with tears in turquoise hues. Though she rarely showed it, Nora was scared out of her mind and even more scared that she was going to lose her friends- practically her new family, what was left of it.
“Ruby-”
She spoke, stopping her run and wrapping her arms around the rose’s shoulders. Her voice was weak and breath shaky as she tried to hold back the tears that were eventually going to spill over. For a moment, Nora pressed closer to Ruby and kissed her lips- taking in the feeling that she realized she almost lost for good.
“I-I’m so glad, y-you’re o-okay-”
Nora stuttered, her gloved hands on either side of Ruby’s face as she locked eye contact with the silver eyes that held such a special place in her heart. The emotions that ran wild in her were too strong for her to handle- her whole frame was shaking in front of the other.

“Nora, Jaune is six feet tall. Besides, Junior isn’t a color. Ranger Green is. It makes more sense, especially since we are going out like field rangers into new lands for us. Perhaps if he were still at like… Signal or Sanctum Academy, I’d let Junior slide…”
“June Bud and Jungle Green are colors! Which, ‘J,’ ‘U,’ and, ‘N,’ are half of junior. Those three letters are in June Bud and Jungle Green! So it does work for the color thing! And how are the, “new lands for us,” new for us? We learned about them when we were at Beacon!”
