Ellie had been feeling nostalgic as of late. She had been thinking about a time in her life where she had to transfer high schools and met an individual named Misogi. While they didn’t meet under the best circumstances due to him saving her from a creep, the redhead couldn’t help but be grateful to other for saving her. It also helped that the very high school that she was transferring to was the very one that Misogi was attending as well. So it made the transitioning process easier on her because at least she knew one familiar face.

Nowadays? Ellie works at least two jobs while she attends college for a degree in Industrial Design. One of those jobs just happened to be a waitress at a restaurant, where she would see a familiar face…

“No way…Misogi?! Hi! Its been a while and you may not remember me but…we went to high school together. You know, that one transfer student named Ellie?” The woman only hoped that he would remember her.

After a long day at work Misogi felt quite hungry, he was currently driving his car, wanting to reach his house as soon as possible. However today he was so tired to cook anything and his stomach already rumble from hunger. Misogi decided that today he would eat in restaurant. After choosing a place, he parked his car and walked inside. He looked around seeing few open seats. He choose one at the window and while taking a rest he waited for waitress. He picked some flyers and began to read them.

He suddenly heard a voice of a female, called him by his given name. He was a bit surprised and maybe a bit startled. After hearing her out Misogi beamed with a cute smile.

『Oh my god ! Ellie! Is that really you ? I haven’t recognized your voice at first. Oh my god how long it was when we last see each other ? 』 He said as he was looking at Ellie quite pleased to see her. She was as usual very cute and energetic.

A couple months had passed since attending Hakoniwa Academy. She was surprised that her school life here had gone by so fast. She was afraid she was going to dread it, due to having to change schools because of her mom. However, that all changed when she discovered that Misogi, the boy who saved her from a certain karaoke incident, also attended the school as well. They’ve gotten to know each other better since playing Mortal Kombat at his house.

“I don’t know about you Misogi, but time flew by so fast. I mean, it only seemed like yesterday that I was just a transfer student.”

『Oh ? Is that so ?』 He asked surprised while looking at the girl.

『Well, I can be honest with you. I also got quickly used to this school. Sometimes I think it’s just too easy for some students.』 He said while looking at her and then around the school grounds. 『So, did you found any friends around the school ?』 He asked curiously.

When Kumagawa finally initiated the embrace, they held an inward battle not shove him. They needed to keep reminding themself that the boy wasn’t trying to hurt them. Granted, they still weren’t entirely sure why he was doing this to begin with. Honestly though, did they have anything to lose at this point?

They paused, biting the inside of their cheek. They kept waiting for the boy to attempt to snap their spine, but the moment never came. Being hug felt…..not bad. They couldn’t find the right word for it, but it wasn’t an unpleasant feeling. They needed to return the embrace now though. They said they would. 

Without allowing themself a moment to dwell on it, Crona shot out their bony arms and wrapped them Kumagawa. Their grip was loose, as they didn’t trust themself not to hurt him. They found themself resting their chin on his shoulder, not knowing where else to put their head. They were beginning to feel light-headed. 

“Kumagawa……..you’re touching me. Isn’t that unpleasant? Can’t you feel the corruption in my body?”

『 Unpleasant ? Well, not really. It seems that our souls are stained in the same way. After all I’m not a good guy either』 He said happily while holding Crona quite close to himself. He was feeling their chin resting on Misogi’s shoulder, but it seems that he doesn’t bother to have Crona so close to him.

Kumagawa sounds to enjoy to soft hug from Crona. He was fully aware that ‘they’ might be a little bit confussed by what just happens, but Kumagawa knew that Crona is rather happy that he hold ‘them’ like this.

『If you really thinks that a hug with you is really unpleasant, then I can assure you, that you are wrong. You aren’t any worst than I am. You have no idea what kind of horrible things I did to human beings. You simply have no idea.』Misogi said, his words sounded pretty honestly and it seems that he wasn’t holding back with the truth.

Crona shot back a few feet. They released themself from Kumagawa’s hug, but they still kept a hand on top of this. Their eyes were wide as they searched his.

“W-Wait, you were a bad guy, too?” With his incredible pour, the swordsman shuddered to think what the boy had done in the past. He had probably been very scary. “W-What did you do, Kumagawa?”

『Oh ?! Did I scare you ?』 He asked while seeing how Crona flee from Misogi a little bit, standing and looking at the male quie shocked.

『Well it’s hard to tell how many people, but I’m sure that a lot. I don’t know why, but people are getting hur quite often while they are near me. Well, no reall all the time, but pretty much pretty often. 』 He said while acting like he was thinking.

『But that was years ago. I didn’t hurt anyone in quite some time, so don’t worry. Besides, I have no intentions  to hur you.』 He said with happy expression.

『If I have to be fully honest with you. I simply can’t recall all of those horrible things I did to my victims. There was simply too many ways to harm someone. I think it could be easier to tell what I never done to someone. However like I said earlier, you shouldn’t be worried that someone is still having a grudge towards me, because I already fix all of those people I broke and fix all of my past mistakes, so I doubt that there’re any people left, who want me to pay for what I did.  』 He continues to speak like he was with no blame or even contrition of what he did in the past to various people. His words may sound honest and trustworthy, but he look way too normal and innocent without any sadness or any bigger negative or any remorse.

Crona was startled by this. Kumagawa wanted them to make the first move? B-But they didn’t even know how to start! How did you wrap your arms around something without the intention to snap it in half? They had never initiated a hug before! They didn’t know how to deal with something like that!

They slowly tried to reach out for the boy, their arms shaking horrendously. Finally, their nerve gave out and then retreated into a small ball of protection. “I…I can’t! You have to go first! I don’t know what I’m doing! It’s too much for me! I can’t do it! No way!” 

They teared up a bit, knowing that they truly weren’t worth all the trouble. Why did they have to be so pathetic? They knew how annoying they had to be. That’s why no one liked being around them.

『Oh right, you might have the point in here. I’m sorry Crona, I didn’t thought about that. Alright, lets see. First calm down and loosen up your body. Try to not be too tense.』He said, while explaining to Crona what they suppose to do. Misogi wasn’t really a good teacher, so he had to rely on his own expirience. 『Alright, tell me when you will beready and then we can try once more, okay. Remember, I’m not trying to hurt you or anything, so you don’t hae to be worried about anything.』He added trying to calm her out more and let her know that she is safe.

Calm down? Loosen up? Ha! Easier said than done! Crona didn’t know the meaning of those words. They wanted to try though. They somehow trusted that this boy didn’t want to hurt them. If he wanted to, surely he would’ve done it by now. Especially considering he seemed to be a lot more powerful than they were.

They said they wanted to learn from him, so they needed to allow themself to be taught.

They pictured themself in the beach inside their soul. The place they retreated when they had to face things they couldn’t deal with. In there was the closest they ever felt to safe. They closed their eyes, forcing their bony fists to uncleanch. They took a few steady breaths. Picture the beach. Picture the beach. How come they could never get the ocean to reach there?

Finally Crona nodded their head, giving Kumagwa silent permission to begin the procedure.

Misogi watched Crona from a side while they calm down and relax in front of Misogi's eyes. Kumagawa was pretty patient and waited as long as Crona needed to relax. He doesn't want them to suggest how to do it, since he wasn't really good in picturing how to relax. Kumagawa played with his own fingers, but then he noticed that Crona looked more relaxed. After a short while Misogi noticed Crona nodding her head. It was a soft move, but he unerstood that it was a signal for him to finally begin.

It doesn't take long for Misogi to slowly move his entire body closer, almost making their knees to touch. Then he slowly leans closer to Crona, wrapping his own arms around hers body, their chest squeeze gently and Kumagawa's chin rested on Crona's shoulder. It was rather warm and pretty friendly hug, without any sudden move or awkward hand positions. 『Can you feel my body ?』He asked softly into Crona's ear. His breath was warm, but also it hits her soft skin very gently, like a summer and hot wind.

『Now, you can do the same, just wrap your hands around me as like I did around yours.』Misogi said while closing his eyes, awaiting for Crona to hug him back.

Love for camping (Nell Brouke)

How she looked forward to this. It was rare for Nell to have a few days off along with her father, considering they were both working in the same hospital as a doctor-in-training and doctor respectively. A chance like this seemed unlikely but it did happen which she naturally became excited.

Decided to spend some quality time with her father, they decided to go camping for a few days, so they needed some camping gear and supplies, especially a tent. After her last shift, she immediately headed towards a camping outlet store.

Whilst searching for an affordable but sturdy tent, a sudden bump from her behind occurred, causing her to fall on the ground as a thud could be heard. 

“Oof.” This came out of the blue, luckily she didn’t get any major injuries, only with some minimal bruises on her leg. But in all, it was an accident. “Yes, don’t worry, with some antiseptics and band-aid, and I should be back on my feet.” The trainee assured as she accepted his offer to help herself standing up.

『Well I'm glad to hear that. I was already worried that I've accidentally injure you, but if you are okay, that's a quite a relief.』Misogi said, right after helping the girl to get up. He seems to be pretty relieved that he doesn't made any harm to her.

『I think I need to pay more attention while I’m doing some shopping. I kinda can forget about the whole world while I think about something.』 He added shortly after as he kept on holding her softer and smaller hand.  He doesn’t even notice it as he kept blabbering.

『So you are also making some shopping here ? Are you a fan of camping ?』 He asked while looking into her eyes, without any hesitation. He also maybe sounded a little bit hyped, but still he tried to sound friendly and quite innocent.
