This mix has a "keep your head up" theme to sooth our rollercoaster lives, featuring seasonally-funky dance tracks from my heroes including Trus'me, Quantic, Bumblebee Unlimited, Moomin, Frits Wentink, Joy Orbison, Urulu, Chaos In The CBD, Daft Punk, Louisahhh, Lapalux, Burial, Moodymann, and many more.

Welcome cameos are spliced into the mix from @jstlbby and my 2011 Night Bus short film‘s soundtrack, created for my film editing class way back.

July – At the peak of summer heat brings sweaty beats to move your feet: French house (continuing our roller disco inferno from June), lustful dubstep, freaky German desert techno, a cameo from Akira's epic original soundtrack, and Anttarr's tranced words on the importance of mastering imagination.

Two days in different times of the year, capturing my beautiful friend Olivia exploring Roosevelt Island and the incredible Oculus WTC. We were so inspired by a video for @machinedrum’s Vapor City Archives release trailer that we created a sequel for it. The track is Machinedrum – Endless <3. (at The Oculus at the World Trade Center)

First stop on Japan: traveling through Tokyo’s streets and parks.

Thinking about the roadtrip Eva, Olivia, and I went on in 2012. I wanted to hunt for beautiful moments on that trip, but they required no hunting. I wanted to capture something visually definitive of every new location, but when I finally got home and reviewed everything in full, I realized almost every photo was beyond being a signifier for a location.
