THIS IS NOT AN APRIL FOOLS JOKE
We here at Doorknobstudios have just recently acquired a new editing station with all the bells and whistles. So what does that mean exactly? IT MEANS THAT WE CAN EDIT EVERY PIECE OF FOOTAGE THAT WE COULD NOT BEFORE!
"whoa, what? there was stuff you guys couldn't get done because of outdated tech?" - everyone
"Why yes good people of everywhere, take a small gander at these projects in the works" - presumably us.
First off, we are making a video game! Here is one of my art pieces that I animated for the point and click segment that we are putting together called Wondertown. There is still work to do as I plan on making the hair look more organic later.
Next up we have a teaser gif of our new show, SAVE FILE CORRUPT. Its pretty much our version of Drunk History. We get drunk, we talk about video games, hilarity ensues, don't miss out on this one!
This one I am extremely proud to say is almost ready to go! I have about another 30 days of compositing left, but that is a small price to pay to wrap up our project that has been sitting 6 years in production hell.
Ladies and Gentlemen, THE ORDINARY LIFE OF BEN BEATS will be dropping late April early May. This show is one of our finest accomplishments, get excited people!
And last but certainly not least we have Sean and Jake vs.
We had to put everything on hiatus while were unable to edit, but once again that is no issue and once again our antics will be readily available on the internet soon enough. Here is a concept test I slapped together to keep you guys happy and to tease our next episode. Sean and Jake vs: The Aliens.
We are ready to rock like fat kid with a roll. Stay tuned people, DoorknobstudioS is opening the door yet again.
Doorknobstudios Digital Gaming Coming Soon!
This is the test logo I threw together for our new branch coming out soon. Doorknobstudios Gaming is being put together by my brother Eric Gilchrist as well as most others involved with the site.
I am happy to say that this side project is already starting to snowball. We are currently developing an in browser game to play at your leisure as well as a massive game that we will hopefully one day soon pitch to Steam. Wish us luck and keep checking in for updates!

Dark Water Productions and Casting Call Entertainment
For the past 2 years I have been on and off again doing free lance work for a company in town called Casting Call Entertainment. At Casting Call I would help teach a short film class once a week, I also filmed projects based on a clients needs. Writing, Directing, Editing. The whole nine yards. If you needed it done, I could do it.
The film aspect was done through a production company ran also under the same owner of Casting Call, Sharry Flaherty. I love these people so much.

Welcome to the new site!
Yes, we are back and ready to rock some worlds. With this new site also comes new short films, new series, sketches, comics and a ton of other things that will hopefully quench your creative appetite.
I apologize for the break but I promise you that now we are on full steam and show no signs of slowing down.
Our current work with the Sean and Jake vs series is hoping to grab the attention of a lot of people and that hopefully gives us more incentive to continue branching off and creating new shows to watch.
Here in this new blog section be on the look out for future site exclusive content, including Behind the scenes and bloopers for shows and films, vlogs and many other little goodies.
