YA WANNA KNOW WHY WE NEED FEMINISM??

So I was feeling confident about myself so I posted this picture of myself on twitter, but apparently a few inches of leg was just too much for some people. 

My twitter exploded with hateful comments from people who don’t even follow me saying I was lacking morals or just downright slutshaming. For the record, I’m 21, despite all the comments about me looking underage.

This kind of toxic misogynistic mentality needs to stop.

It’s 2015. A woman should be able to wear whatever she likes without receiving such bigoted, hateful remarks. It’s her body, and she can do whatever she likes with it. 

A woman’s dignity is not defined by what she wears.

I repeat, a woman’s dignity is not defined by what she wears.

If you have a minute, go ahead and report these accounts because no one should be allowed to harass anyone on the internet like this. It’s disgusting. You can’t excuse bullying by saying “it’s just my opinion.” If your views are hateful, there is no justification. Racism is not an opinion. Homophobia is not an opinion. And neither is misogyny.
