Last year Stephen Amell was kind enough to cheer me up when my baby died unexpectedly. He dedicated his panel at Dallas Comic Con to my family, arranged a private meet and greet, and was an overall amazing man.

In August we went to Stephens wine mixer and asked him to announce my pregnancy. He kindly obliged, as he was overjoyed for us.

Fast forward to now: Here is Stephen holding our miracle baby, Oliver Jonas. When we walked to the table Stephen said “Hi Oliver!!” Bless than man, not only did he greet me by name but immediately held his arms out for my child. And then he cuddled baby Ollie and my heart melted.

And this breaks my heart even more because at his core all he wanted was a family with her. He wanted to be able to have her be a part of Willam’s life and for them all to be a family. That’s truly what he wanted. It’s what he still wants if he were honest with himself. And because of the ultimatum and the decisions made, that now seems like a dream that is completely out of his reach.

All he wanted was for them to be a family.

The list of ridiculous things on tonight’s episode:

Felicity walking (it is too soon, they needed to drag this situation more, maybe until the end of the season).
Felicity didn’t use her legs for weeks and she only needs 5 seconds to walk away just fine!
Thea complaining to Malcolm about the lies (really Thea?).
Diggle and Oliver scene in the rooftop (really Diggle, where’s your advice about no lies?).
No more campaigning for Oliver (same mistake from the season 3, no occupation for Oliver?).
The storyline about Oliver being a father is now what, done?
All this drama was for nothing because Oliver don’t have William in his life!
