Progeny of the original one? Unexpected. Squall, the copy created from shards, couldn’t help but stare in awe. So... that’s how an eventual fusion with the thief, uh? Not that he wanted to lose his identity by taking out any of his shards, he barely interacted with that ninja girl anyway (she was a good leader, though, whenever they had to walk she was fast and always managed to meet more moguri than anyone else) but... wow, his original self created them?
The little fairy of music decided to follow the kids, out of curiosity. Perhaps it wasn’t the most rationa behaviour but he didn’t care. “Op-” it was just going to be difficult considering he was only 20 centimeters tall.

Zack was sitting at the base of his steps with his guitar. Zack had his case open for tips. At the moment it was empty. As Zack finished playing a song he looked down at it. Zack lived in the town center he figure he would of at least got a buck or two. Maybe I should just give up. Zack decided to play one last song before putting his guitar away.

Squall found himelf humming a familiar song as soon as he left the building he spent the last few hours in trying to deal with burocracy and stupid employees whose hobby seemed to be sending poor people from an office to another without resolving anything. Oh, well, time to blow off some steam, right?
“Mind if I join?” he asked sitting at the man’s side while placing a violin on his shoulder. Perhaps a bit too bold but he wasn’t there to impress ayone. Good thing he carried his instrument around.

About Squall
Squall isn’t the real “Squall”: like any other creature of his world he’s been created by the Crystal as a faint echo of a hero from another world to collect Rhytmia and restore the Balance. And while he shares some memories and his real self’s personality he’s just... a fake And he is perfectly aware of this.
‘Squall’ was forged by six white crystals fused together and all he ever knew is a world of music, harmony and songs. And while he may not know what this ‘balance’ is he knows he has to fight for it.
- He is usually in his ‘Shard’ form, meaning Squall will often show himself as a little creature with a chubby body, big eyes and generally shorter than 20cm.
- He can take form of his real counterpart, age seems to be an atract concept for him and he can take any appearence, from being a kid to being an old man.
- His knowledge of feeling is limited: he understands friendship, but not love, he can not like someone but hasn’t been trained to hate. His feelings are generally considered ‘weaker’ than his real counterpart. He can also be more rational and will tend to analyze things without being too invested in them.
- He knows all the people who are his partners in his universe. Meaning he will recognize Cosmos but not Quistis, he will know who Vincent Valentine is but have no clues on Selphie.
- Rinoa is just one of the mages. They’re not even really inclined to party together because they have different specialities and they prefere partners who can actually be useful.
- Laguna is not his father, Laguna is just another shard person. And he knows him as a young man forged after him.
- He isn’t skilled as his original self with the gunblade and would definitely lose any battle against a ‘Squall’ but this little copy has other little talents: he can play any instrument by pure instinct, he’s undefeatable at rhytm games and as long as he can at least hum a song he will have enough patience to deal with any kind of tedious task.
