telling another person to commit suicide is never right or warranted in any given situation. i don’t care how big or tough you think you are because you’re able to speak those words, don’t fucking do it.
you don’t get to come online and make other people feel like shit just because you don’t agree nor like what they have to say. here’s some news for you, pal; OPINIONS AND FEELINGS ARE FUCKING ALLOWED AND YOU DON’T GET TO TELL SOMEONE THAT THEY SHOULD DIE BECAUSE OF THEM. get off your high horse and piss off, please and thank you.
death is permanent but being an asshole isn’t; tell me which one is harder to change because you clearly don’t understand.

How to do something like this:

NOTE: This tutorial will only show you how to do the beams. Since I didn’t save this edit as a PSD I can’t do a complete recreation.

1. Open the picture you’d like to use. This is my picture. When doing beams, I usually save all the editing till the end. But you can edit it how you like and then add the beams or wait.

2. Create a new layer.

3. Click on the pen tool shortcut (P), and make sure your settings are the same as mine:

Start drawing half circles down the body, or where ever you’d like the beams to go.

4. Click on the brush tool, shortcut (B), and set the brush size between 1 and 5, I usually use 3, and the hardness to 100%. Also choose a color, I will be using white (#ffffff).

5. Click back on the pen tool, right click on the lines you just made and click Stroke Path. This box will pop up, make sure you have it set to my settings and click OK.

Hit the ESC key to get rid of the selection and you will see something like this:

Now it’s time to remove the part of the beams you want to appear “behind” the peerson.

6. Using the lasso tool, shortcut (L), circle the part that you’d like to delete then hit delete. I usually do every other one.

You should have something like this now:

Now we’re going to add an inner and outer glow to the beam.

7. Double click on the beam layer and you should get the blending options box. Click on outer glow and make your settings like mine, or whatever you feel looks good. Color #0084ff

Inner glow Color #a9d4fc

You should get something that looks like this:

If you want to, you can add more beams to the picture repeating steps 3-6 using a different color and size brush in step 4, and change up the colors in step 7. For length purposes I will only use one beam.

Now we are going to add “sparkles” along the beam.

8. Create a new layer. And using various sizes of brushes, add a few spots along the edge of the beam. You would get something like this:

If you’d like, you can add a yellow outer glow onto this layer. Color #ffff00

9. Add whatever you’d like to this to finish it off. I messed around with the burn/dodge/sponge tool, shortcut (O), and added a few textures. Along with adding a few adjustment layers. This is my final result.

Any questions? Put them in my ask.

Asked on MSNBC’s Morning Joe whether he’d vote for Clinton in the fall, Sanders, who plans to remain in the Democratic race through the party convention in July, responded, “Yes.” He went on to say that right now he has a job to do inside the Democratic party.

To everyone out there who threw shade and said they’d never vote for Hillary because they wanted Bernie. The man himself is voting for her, please do the same.

no but really i can’t stand that a majority of the rpc, and sadly a lot of the people i follow are all for encouraging poc fcs in roleplays but whenever i scroll down my dash or in the 1x1 tag you’re all playing the same ten white fcs like?

it upsets me when i go through tags and reblog as many poc fcs as i can with their names tagged and they hardly get reblogged but i gotta see the same matt daddario gifset on my dash like six times in a fucking row

i mean you’re all for being ‘diverse’ and reblog all the diversity faceclaim masterlists and and writing guides for accuracy but where?? are you all?? actually playing poc fcs? because i don’t see it? i go through muse pages and see like 2 poc muses or none? and i’m in no way knocking or invalidating white passing poc fcs or lightskinned poc fcs but when are you guys gonna actually play some poc fcs who aren’t as light as gigi hadid or selena gomez???

in other words when are some of you gonna quit being hypocrites and actually practice what you preach

Rough first kiss things:
  • Colliding with the wall so hard one of them is gonna have bruises
  • Moans of pleasure mixing with a single moan of pain as one of them bites the other’s lip
  • Teeth being dragged along necks, mouths being dragged along jawlines
  • Hands fumbling at hems, zippers, buttons
  • One raking their fingers through the others hair before gripping at the root, hard enough to be painful
  • Butt grabs / thigh squeezes

my dad would make such a good shitposter

ok so like. we drove past this place called ‘house of fabric’ or something and he immediately saw it and blurted something along the lines of “the house of fabric! come in today and you can shove as much fabric in your mouth as you want! unlimited mouthfulls of fabric! free of charge!” and it honestly sounded like he was reading something directly out of tumblr and it was a little jarring. my dad is even more in with this generation than i thought

iPhone needs a feature where an incoming call doesn’t take up the whole screen so you can do other things while you ignoring a phone call.

What Cultural Appropriation is NOT

Cultural appropriation is real and can be very harmful, but Tumblr en masse has grossly misdefined it. Here are some examples of what isn’t cultural appropriation:

- Eating food from another culture - Properly practicing a religion from another culture. - Listening to music from another culture - Reading literature from another culture - Learning a new language - Respectfully wearing clothing from another culture in an appropriate setting, such as overseas, at a cultural event, wedding, etc. - Buying crafts from local craftsman. - Respectfully participating in cultural activities such as yoga, dreidel, and belly dancing - Respectfully wearing or using non-sacred icons or art from another culture, such as Chinese pottery or in some cases, henna. - Trying out instruments and tools from another culture, such as chopsticks or traditional writing instruments

Many people from other cultures are actually offended when Americans try to fight “cultural appropriation”. For example, many Japanese people thought that criticism of Avril Lavigne’s video was laughably ignorant at best and racist at worst. Also, in many countries, Americans who refuse to partake in cultural activities or traditional dress out of fear of appropriation are seen as snobbish and entitled. Additionally, many religions actively encourage evangelization. Saying that religions traditionally practiced by non-white people cannot freely spread has some very racist implications.

Being culturally literate actively fights racial prejudice or ignorance. Taking the time to learn another culture’s history, values, perspective, and traditions makes people better citizens. For example, understanding how various cultures and religions view illness will help me be a better nurse. Cultural competence can only help society, and it prevents genuine, offensive cultural appropriation.

There are definitely some gray areas when it comes to cultural appropriation. Some Christians find non-Christians using crosses in fashion offensive, while some do not, for example. Intent can also carry some significance. For example, someone may fully understand the sacred meaning of the ankh and feel a strong spiritual connection to it. Another person may just think it looks cool. Both wear an ankh ring, but one would definitely not be appropriating while the other has entered a gray area.

Some cultural practices overlap as well. Tattooing has been practiced around the world by many cultures that didn’t come into contact with each other, for example. Meditation has also been practiced around the world. Buddhist mediation is arguably the best known, but nearly every culture and religion has one or more varieties of it. (I personally like the method practiced in Ancient Ireland best, because it’s the only one I personally know that allows one to think exclusively in words. It’s not physically possible for an NLDer to “turn off” verbal thinking, so most other forms of meditation are inaccessible.)

Historically, separating cultures often leads to cultural incompetence, xenophobia, discrimination, stereotyping, and racism. Cultural appropriation is bad, but that doesn’t make cultural segregation good.

hell yes to all of this post.

and I’d like to point out how many times it says “respectfully” or “properly”. this is important, people. read it and understand it.
