Right now Oregon and California are experiencing one of the worst wildfires to date. The sky is orange and everything smells like a campfire and I'm bad at articulating but it's really serious. Thousands have had to evacuate and lost they're homes in the process. I don't like talking about topical stuff on the blog v often but I'm in the midst of the evacuation zone in Oregon and shits scary. I'm afraid of losing my home and I'm afraid for my family and friends.

Idk what the point is of this post but I feel like not many people outside of the northwest know how bad it is rn cus it's bad. The moment I find donation links I'll link them to this post but I haven't found any yet. And if you're in the northwest rn, please be safe.

This was the Golden Gate bridge yesterday. Not in a firezone (the one near us was put out since haven’t heard more about it) but plenty of others are. Scary times right now

The music video for “cardigan” will premiere tonight, which I wrote/directed. A million thank you’s to my brilliant, bad ass video team - Cinematographer Rodrigo Prieto, producer Jil Hardin, executive producer Rebecca Skinner, AD Joe ‘Oz’ Osbourne, editor Chancler Haynes, special effects wizards David Lebensfeld & Grant Miller and set designer Ethan Tobman. The entire shoot was overseen by a medical inspector, everyone wore masks, stayed away from each other, and I even did my own hair, makeup, and styling 😂 

this is gonna be one of the best listening experiences ever considering it’s one of the first we’ve ever had where there were no secret sessions, no pre-release songs, nothing. we’re all gonna experience this album front to back for the first and discover everything at the same time and i’m going to implode.

Taylor Swift’s eighth studio album ‘folklore’ will be released on July 24, 2020.

when I read “tonight at midnight I’ll be releasing my 8th studio album” i literally went through a hundred stages of shock within 0.0001 second
