They went on a trip to get inspiration for making the store then saw Japanese great “粋/SOPHISTICATED” culture and architecture, such as Ise Grand Shrine in Mie and Kyoto's historic buildings. Inspired by this trip, we put together these elements on our first store that has opened on 2nd Nov 1999 located near The National Stadium as the japan soccer sanctuary. . The store’s interior has not changed since the door has opened. In general, the store needs renewal for become something new but the concept of SOPH.shop is exactly the opposite.
