i saw the total eclipse earlier this week, and it was easily one of the coolest things i've ever experienced in my life. On the lead up to totality the air itself got dark, colours got desaturated, and it became noticeably cooler. On totality the horizon turned orange, the street lights around us came on, you could see the planets in bright pin-points, and the eclipse itself had a thin purple ring.

i've never seen anything like it and i know i won't again, but i'm so glad i got to see it once. It activates something instinctive in you that i'm still trying to pin down.

Something cool i got in the mail the other day from my publisher! Heavy-duty hardcover library editions of the third volume of the Minecraft graphic novel i wrote!

Every so often i'll get a box in the mail from Dark Horse with the comic translated into different languages, and it makes me happy to know our books about a group of friends playing Minecraft are being read all around the world!

it's new a year, a new(ish?) me, and to ring in 2024 i'm returning to Patreon after a long long long break.
