It had been a long day for both of them, and now they finally had time to relax and be together alone. Curling up next to him, Anna let out a sigh of comfort and content. “You sometimes make a great pillow.” she mused then nuzzled into his neck pressing a soft kiss to his chin.

Clint sighed as he finally got to sit back and escape the recent hell SHIELD decided to initiate. He couldn't have asked for a better position--as Anna had been coiled up against him, sighing above his steady breathing. He scoffed at her remark.

"I'm guessing that's a compliment?" he replied, running his fingers through her caramel silk of hair. He couldn't deny he'd always enjoyed having someone under his wing, to protect against anyone and anything from the outside. All he wanted was to hold her, but his eyes lingered down the way her slender body lay against his. There seemed to be no flaws, and Clint could barely control himself.

He kissed the top of her head when she nuzzled under his neck. He slowly brushed his hands up and down her arm, drowning in the moment.

Angel gave him a look. “Oh, you would, would you? Then we should do a wager because my are you in for a treat, my friend. Or I should say I’m in for a treat because you will lose said wager.”

"Yes—he is a snarky asshole. Then again…I could probably find you more than a handful of people who would say the same about me. I’m just cuter is all."

"Alright well the next time I see a snake, I'm gonna have to call you up," he grinned sheepishly, "we'll see who really loses this wager."

"I guess the Starks are full of snarky assholes, but that face doesn't seem to fit in."

"I dunno, Barton. Telling me not to be a prostitute because, quote, ‘my face doesn’t belong on the streets’? Sounds like you’re going soft to me."

"Well I can't lie to you at this point, Bishop. You catch me bullshitting faster than anyone else, but soft? Tell you what--when you stop missing, I'll think about it."

"Yeah," she nodded. She didn’t feel uncomfortable around her brother, but she had to admit that the atmosphere felt tense. She was nervous, and she had a right to be. She was also unsure of what to think of the man who had left her.

"Things," she answered. She didn’t exactly want to tell him she had grown up to be a high class thief. "You?"

"Things?" he flashed a smirk followed by an unconvinced brow, "well, are these things are working out for you?"

He felt her tension, but couldn't seem to accept his own. He wanted to know more about how she was, but somewhere deep down he knew he wasn't entitled to it anymore. After all, he ditched her.

"Oh you know, just gettin' myself into tons of trouble like I used to with Barney."

Bobbi saw Clint after a mission not looking like his normal self leading on the wall outside her office. She frowned and walked up to him. "Hey." She looked up at him. "What happened?" She asked and took hold of his hand.

The marksman’s mind was like damp silt, and his blue eyes glazed over with the color of anguish. He’d almost been convinced that a part of him was left back there—back at that mission, but all he could think of was seeing her. So he leaned up against the wall, irritably tapping the varnish, until his partner appeared from her office. He had to tell her.

He glanced at her once, but refused to look into her eyes. He’d forgotten about the deep scar that traced his neck like a pendent, and hoped she wouldn’t be too concerned. It was only a matter of time…

His hand was loose as she grabbed it, and he couldn’t force the words.

"Bobbi," he muttered, staring to the ground, "I… I have to tell you something."

She slipped her arms around his waist and pressed a kiss to his neck

Clint felt a half smile tugging at his jaw when she folded her arms around his waist, and a chuckle vacated his throat when she kissed his neck.

“Nice try, Anna,” he scoffed, “but my neck isn’t as sensitive as yours.”

He grasped her waist in his bow calloused hands and pulled her body close to his. His mind was a puddle of liquid when he pressed his lips to her cheekbones, eventually raising her chin up to capture her lips.

Natasha stroked his cheek, grinning against his lips. “Mm…Don’t wanna let go, hmm?”

"Well, if you made it easy to I might," his muttered, his lips curving against hers  as he grabbed her hand and entangled his fingers with hers.

I am so sorry about my absence guys.. I've been really getting into my other muse lately and have not been balancing the two the way that I said I would. Things are going to change though, I'm going to start getting on Clint more often and making starters and what not.
