It was the first week of fall semester classes and I was still trying to figure out where everything was, so I was a bit lost. The second day of classes, I showed up to my first class 15 minutes late, and then turned out to be at the wrong class, but the professor wouldn’t let me leave. I ended up sitting through an entire lesson that I wasn’t supposed to be in before sprinting all the way across campus to get to where I was supposed to be just as the class let out. When I explained to my professor why I hadn’t shown up on time he looked at me with pity and said that the professor whose class I had shown up to does this sort of thing all the time. I woke up before I could ask why. I’m still curious.
