"I'VE NEVER BEEN AFRAID OF DARKNESS.
But I am afraid of the creatures who thrive in darkness. The dark has a way of taking hold... Of feeding off of your every doubt and insecurity. When you can't tell what is real or what is imagined, shadows flood every avaliable space. In the abyss, there is nothing but room for the imagination. Life endures, even in the depths. Some illuminate the space around them so they can see where they're going. But in darkness, light is more than a pathway. It's a lure. [...] I have faced the creatures of darkness...
... BUT THEY ARE NO MATCH FOR ME."

If a whale falls to the ocean floor but no fish is there to hear/see it, did it really fall?

“Oh, there is always something watching and listening on the depths. Always. Never doubt that.”

“Fine, then how bout this: you see a boat in the ocean. It hasn’t sunk yet, but you don’t see a single person on the boat. How can this be?”

“Pyke assassinated them cause Nautilus takes the boat along.”

A child is seeing with his lower-half covered in mist, flying at high speeds, and reaching out towards the other. "NAMIIIIIIIII!" He cried out with joy before the mist dispersed and he was left flying towards her ready to hug upon impact.

      ( @a-child-turned-monstrosity )   “Lief!” The Marai called as she raised her arms to catch the child as he fell towards her, hugging him close to her body and placing many gentle kisses ontop of his head. “Oh, dear! How have you been?! Is Mr. Bunny being a good friend?”

                 @the-void-fish | nonverbal starters | shelter.

 Nami knew the power of the corruption, she had seen it up close and personal, and yet, everytime she looked at him, she could not help but se beyond it and into the atlantean that remind her so much of another friend. The Tidecaller was unable to view him as a creature of corruption and destruction only and even as her heart screamed at her that this was dangerous, that every hint of the corruption of the depths should be exterminated by her hands or others, she could never bring herself to do it, or let someone else finish the task. Every few times that the decision was within her grasps, she chose life, and she chose to save the atlantean even if the cost was also saving the parasite.   With a very deep sigh, the marai laid Void on the sand of the beach, his head resting over her tail as it cradled him protectively and the healing waters did their work. It wasn’t always that she would be close to save him, but whenever that happened, she did. A hand settled over the creature’s shoulder and Nami shook him gently.  — “You know I won’t always be around to help. Be more careful in this line of work, yes?”
