I remember I actually bought Lady Gaga tickets in this format of ticket code with purchase. Basically if you make a merch purchase you get a special presale code. But with Lady Gaga, you didn’t somehow get an advantage based on how much you spent on merch. Whether you bought a $5 sticker, a $30 shirt or $60 sweatshirt, you just got a code to get into the presale for tickets. You didn’t get an advantage like a better seat or a better chance of scoring tickets just because you bought a $60 ring or any bullshit like that. What Gaga did was trying to keep tickets in the hands of fans. What Taylor is trying to do is profit off her fans and make as much money as possible and it’s fucking shitty to do what she’s doing.
