A collection of all the wizards I’ve drawn over the past year or so! Some of them used to have gray backgrounds, but now they’re all nice and colorful 🧙‍♂️✨

GOD Yuri on Ice went hard. My man Victor fell in love at a party, spent a year making a sweepingly romantic program about it after he got totally ghosted, made another program about getting cruelly abandoned by a flirtatious playboy, THEN watched the guy who ghosted him perform the grand romantic program he wrote ABOUT HIM and post it on the internet without saying ANYTHING TO HIM. And was like "oh my god I guess this is my sign to fly to Japan"

Like this is 6 years old now and I am still shaking in my boots

love writing. writing is awesome. it’s a shame that it involves writing though

being in your early 20s is crazy bc there’s people who are literally married and people who’ve never even dated and people who are trapped in their childhood bedrooms waiting to get out and people who are trying to live out romanticized dream lives and people who are completely on their own and people with multi tiered support systems and we’re all supposedly peers and none of us think we’re doing it right at all

you change people. your name makes others smile. your work moves people. someone might compliment you somewhere, right now. someone’s heart will beat faster just thinking about you. your friends remember your experiences fondly. someone might see a book in the store and think of you, too. you inspire others to keep going, or you will someday. your presence matters and changes the world every day.

underrated part of petting a cat is when you reach over their head to scratch their back and they bonk their head on ur arm

that’s the stuff………………

my dad worked in HR for a big company before he retired. they offered summer internships for the children of employees, which I did for a few years during college. the pay wasn’t high, but you still did basically the same tasks as a full-time employee in your department

and it was WILD

I’d finish a task in a day, only to be told that was my task for the week. my boss was blown away and raved about my efficiency. which was very nice but like…dude. you gave me about 6 hours worth of work, and that’s at a leisurely pace with an hour-long lunch break. why are you so impressed?

eventually I started messing around on my phone for hours to drag the tasks out longer, because I felt bad when my boss had to scramble to find things for me to do. I got like ten fanfic chapters written per month that way

meanwhile, at my last retail job, I got in trouble for talking to vendors at the adjoining stalls during slow periods

Call centres were such a fabulous confluence of this.

Like yeah you’re gonna mandate that we can’t have more than 5 minutes in an entire 10-12 hour day to write wrap notes for calls but you’ve also given us all computers and someone is absolutely gonna figure out how to embed flash games in an Excel file and email that around until all of us can book boiler servicing appointment and beast it at Tetris simultaneously

"Shouldn't the man who invented the iPhone own his own creation?"

An explanation by anti-capitalist brad pitt.

"Mazzucato lists twelve crucial technologies that make smartphones “smart”: (1) microprocessors;(2) memory chips; (3) solid state hard drives; (4) liquid crystal displays; (5) lithium-based batteries;(6) fast Fourier transform algorithms; (7) the internet; (8) HTTP and HTML protocols; (9) cellular networks; (10) Global Positioning Systems (GPS); (11) touchscreens; and (12) voice recognition. Every last one was supported by the public sector at key stages of development."

look I work for the cult Steve Jobs built and even they’re pretty clear on the fact that Steve’s talent was never tech, it was *marketing* and understanding that emotional appeal was the cornerstone of building brand loyalty.

Also, he was a raging asshole and a nightmare to work with. Stop venerating people whose companies have vested interests in you thinking they’re Tony Stark irl

leftist antisemites are really everywhere on this hellsite making & reblogging their posts like “the Jews have too much power and privilege and actually their very recent genocide was not that bad compared to what my group experiences and antisemitism doesn’t even exist in my country and especially not in liberal spaces”

Goyim should reblog posts like this one instead of always only acknowledging antisemitism when it is about jk rowling’s goblins or easy shit like that.

Challenge the antisemitism that is coming from inside the house. Be a little brave. Because you will lose followers for reblogging a post like this, because there are antisemites following you that think this way, and assume you do too.
