Call me by the name you already know for me… though you mustn’t speak it aloud
A collection of Commissions over the past couple of months. Sometimes it’s easier to put them on tumblr as a grouping, instead of one at a time. My style is currently evolving at a rapid pace, so it’s been hard to keep up with it. First is oldest(3 months); bottom is most recently completed (yesterday). If I can get back to making my own art, I want desperately to start posting here again. But life is busy, busy. If youre interested in a commission, the form for inquiries is here, and it helps me out in these trying times.
Been really busy working on a LOT of commissions… one of which is for a hopeful kid’s book in the future: where C is represented by Cassowary. I was really proud of the painting job I did, and I’ve really been enjoying SAI2! it’s been a great program to upgrade to.
Finished my commission up from the stream last night, all in one go! This is Laolin, an albino MEW kinkajou and he’s always been a joy for me to draw – getting paid to do it is just an extra little treat. Even more exciting is that I drew him in standard kinkajou colors a little over a year ago, and the difference in quality makes my heart a happy thing. It’s good to see I’m still improving on all fronts as an artist~.
My commissions are currently open by inquiry only! Checking here is the fastest and easiest route to my prices/quotes at the moment. You can also contact directly at cantonbags04 at gmail, I try my best to reply to inquiries as fast as possible (aka as fast as life will allow me to, haha).
Commission for @kreetn of his characters Gregor and Gorger! I had a bit of an art block finishing these up, mostly perspective based. In the end, I was able to pull off something I was relatively happy with. Gorger is a figment of Gregor’s mind that’s come to life, in a way, and I tried to portray that here.
AND THAT COMPLETES THE OCTOBER COMMISSIONS I HAD. I’ll be opening up commissions again in mid November, so stay tuned and thanks for all the support!
Just a little sweet treat from one werewolf gf to another~
This is also literally the CUTEST commission I’ve gotten ever. And I’m a kid’s book illustrator. Contact for commission info and rates quotes! I start at $15/hour.
I can’t believe it’s been a year now that we’ve had our greyhound, Zill! Strudel is still refusing to snuggle with her, but that doesn’t mean I don’t catch him stealing kisses with her every now and then. He’s such a tsundere~.
Commission done for a friend, of their DnD familiars! Mango is the kea (a type of New Zealand Parrot) and Discovery is a velociprator who is ferocious despite her cuddly looks. This was a great fun commission to get! Though I did struggle with some things meaning it took longer than anticipated, I also learned a lot, and got a LOT of feather practice, haha. Keas, man. KEAS.
“The Gods are not picky in who they choose to do their bidding.”
While in between work and commissions, I’m going to be heavily working on my greatest personal project, Eidolon. I plan on working it into a graphic novel/comic, and I hope you are all interested in the fun I have in store ahead!
As a little taster, I am preparing images of Eidolon with some basic information.
Eidolon pt 1.
- Eidolon are spirit walkers – they ferry souls after the physical body has perished.
- Eidolon are themselves simply souls touched by a god, with some of the god’s power transferring to that soul. Eidolon are naturally born, but cannot naturally die.
- On the physical plane, eidolon individuals appear normal - nothing distinguishes them outwardly from regular animals. It is only when they cross the life/death divide that their true selves are revealed.
- The typical appearance of an eidolon is dark, with points of light. The light is the inner soul shining through the body and is revealed at points where the eidolon has physically ‘died’.
- Each eidolon has their own unique ‘horn’ which carries souls with them. These souls are then delivered to the gods for cleansing and then recycling back into the living population. It can change shape over the course of the eidolon’s ‘lifetime’

Commissions still open for these for a limited time! Get it while it’s hot~
Kinkajou commission for a friend! The fur was very fun and easy on this piece. If interested, these start at $25 and go up from there based on complexity! Email: cantonbags04@gmail for inquiries!
One of my favorite pups passed away today; my aunt’s little dog, Connor. He was a great sheltie, and a great dog.
What have I been up to? Oh, just drawing my friends festive animals for the holidays while I await death.
This is batch 1. Batch 2 to come later~. Happy holidays, folks.
Silly skunk tries to reluctantly hold grumpy snake and it sort of works. A conversation with a friend. I’m just putting it here because I keep LOLing at it.
Aww Jeez Rick, who are they?! It’s the hip, 1980s versions of us Morty! Weee-uuurrp We’re BASED Off of them, Morty! OOOOHHH!!
