Every time I watch Turn, Turn, Turn I’m like
Maybe Hand will say no to Ward coming with her this time. This time.
An edit based on a bit of this post.

I’ve been seeing people saying things such as:
And son, sit your ass down and listen:
YES, Victoria was ruthless in using SHIELD resources, nobody’s denying that. But if I hear you saying in front of me that Victoria didn’t “give two cahoots” about Coulson’s team or human life in general, I will hunt you down and claw out your lungs.
First of all, she believed Coulson to be HYDRA. Coulson, a bloody level 8, the HIGHEST ranking memeber of the bus, their LEADER. Coulson, who conspired with a known enemy of SHIELD, disobeyed a direct order, Coulson, who did some shady, questionable shit. Take all those deeds into consideration PLUS the fact she had no method of testing the loyalty of those on the Bus, like she did with Jemma and Trip, not to menion THEY WERE IN THE MIDDLE OF A BLOODY HYDRA MIST WHEN HALF THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU WANT YOU DEAD. Would you have taken the risk to thread lightly with a team of trained, some even lethal, agents? Because I sure as hell would not, and nor did she.
Let’s put this way: you have, let’s say, 10 apples. Two of them are poisoned. Would you dare pick one?
Secondly, about Jemma and Trip; Victoria could have simply assumed they were HYDRA. She could have simply marched in with the rest of the agents and SHOT them without giving them any chance to prove they have no affiliation with HYDRA.
Victoria kept a cool head during a critical time. She approached the situation in which she found herself in a smart and logical way.
She’s resourcesful, rational, and calm. She’s able to make hard decisions in critical situations. Unlike Colson, she sticks by the rules. She applies them. The new SHIELD will need people like her, the new SHIELD will need her.
Save Victoria Hand because she has strong convictions and she stands her ground, even when the narrative crucifies her.
Save Victoria Hand because she made it to level 8 despite not being a favourite, despite playing in a men’s world, despite the people who were condescending and dismissive and rude, and I want to hear how she got there.
Save Victoria Hand because she’s smart and efficient and ruthless with the use of resources, and the new SHIELD will need that, desperately.
Save Victoria Hand because she is completely unapologetic about herself, her actions, her decisions; save Victoria Hand because she does not yield.
Save Victoria Hand because Marvel needs to stop just paying lip service to representation and diversity and put those words into action.
Save Victoria Hand because she matters to me, and she matters to my friends and people I care about, and we deserve to see ourselves represented on screen too.
Do better, Marvel. Bring her back.
I know everyone’s super excited about Bobbi! and I am too! but there needs to be more than one really awesome female SHIELD agent alive at a time that isn’t on the main cast! so don’t forget to keep pushing for Victoria Hand’s return, fandom, please.
I mean, imagine the two of them meeting. Imagine Victoria flirting with Bobbi. We as a fandom deserve this.
Pretty much the other posts I’ve read about why Victoria should be saved have been a lot better than what I could come up with, but I’m going to try to write something anyway. I really started to like the character during her last two appearances, which is probably really ironic, and I was brokenhearted when Ward shot her. They need to fix things and bring her back because Shield needs her. I love Coulson and his current way of thinking that people can be saved, and deserve second chances. I would love it if that was always the way things worked, but it just isn’t. Sometimes no matter what you do, people can’t be saved, or sacrifices are called for. Shield needs someone who can see that, like Victoria. Please, just bring her back. She deserves so much better than the ending she got!

Nothing is confirmed as of yet but gosh I want Xena Warrior Princess smooching Victoria Hand so bad.

I’ve said for awhile now that Victoria should be alive just because she should be; because on her own merit she is a great character whose arc was abruptly cut off too soon for stupid reasons.
But here’s the thing. If that’s not enough—though it should be—the other thing to consider is that Victoria being alive strengthens what has basically become the confirmed narrative of season two—that is, Ward’s redemption.
I don’t mean this in a “women exist for the narrative of male characters to be furthered” way. She already died for that to happen. But if she’s not dead, it’s important to the main arc of the show. Which is more reason for her to be alive, yes? Especially for the writers, who are the people in charge of this decision.
So why is it important? Simple.
slightly silly savevictoriahand post:
the more appearances she had in the show, the more vibrant her streaks were and the more beautiful she looked
clearly, so she can achieve maximum beauty, we need her back to do more episodes
