The last good morning she had - taken a day before she passed. She's been in great spirits and more affectionate after her ear infection cleared up. It was five months ago since we first brought her into the vet to combat it. She used to avoid us like the plague so seeing her run up was and is such a gift. We've come such a long way and even tho I'm sad my little girl is gone, I know she's happier to be reunited with Ricoh again.

Holliday has left us to go join Ricoh two days ago. She was truly the sweetest angel, never once bit us ever. She would thump and grunt whenever she was annoyed or upset tho. I woke up around 1am wednesday after hearing some strange noises downstairs and noticed she was losing balance. Although her ear infection has completely healed up, the one side where she had face paralysis finally just got to her. We stayed up with her until 4am and when we woke up she completely lost mobility. We both stayed with her until she passed at home very shortly after. I'm glad she's back with her best friend and brother.. I know the last few months were def a bit hard on her and i'm relieved to know she's no longer hurting.

It's with a heavy heart to tell you all that Ricoh has passed away. He left the world in Dec13.2023 and I wanted to post about it when it first happened but it was so sudden and unexpected that I just couldn't do it. This is the last video I took of him doing his favorite thing in the world - eating. His last day I gave him so much kisses and love. He wasn't feeling himself that day and I gave him his usual bene-bac and critical care but when I took a nap and woke up he was gone. Part of me is mad I didn't go above and beyond to help him more but I just think that it was his time. I remember telling him he's my favorite and that I love him. And even though he wasn't feeling great, he gave me some kisses and I assumed he was going to be okay. It was truly a shock and honestly i know that a part of me will always be missing. Its been three months but Ghibli and Holliday are doing somewhat okay, both of them were the ones showing some slight health issues and we've been going to the vet a lot recently. So losing Ricoh was really hard. Holliday actually had to get her molars trimmed two days after he passed and has been battling ear infections that went away but recently come back.. Ghibli has been getting eye/nasal flushes for the past two years now. We're going to the vet with them both tomorrow so hoping for good news but we're also being realistic. They are both now elders and with the loss of Ricoh we were reminded that time is short and you never know. So give your bunnies and loved ones an extra hug and kiss, you wont regret it.

Baby Holliday is perfect, regardless of her tiny face molt or damp nose. She had a little fever after we brought her home, which we got antibiotics at the vet. Her massive paws were clues that when she grows up she gonn be thicccc LOL

Hello everyone~ so here is the final vet update on Holliday. It’s been around 3 months since she stopped taking antibiotics and we came back from the vet right now. The doctor said that Holliday has a crooked mouth which is why she’s drooling a little. They checked her teeth again along with a thorough check up and found nothing wrong with her!! We are so relieved and will just occasionally have to dry her face so she doesn’t get dermatitis on her chin. Thanks all

Sleepy Ricoh~

Holliday’s Update: notified the vet that she wasn’t 100% better so they recommended another round of antibiotics. When we went to the compounder to pick up her medicine I asked the pharmacist there if I should stop during the 10days if I thought she was healthy. He told me that sinus infection medicine can sometimes take months to work versus something like a urinary infection which would be only 5 days. Luckily she LOVES her medicine and probiotic, so it’s not so bad. Will keep you posted!

Did want to give an update on Holliday. so her eye healed up completely but there was still wetness near her mouth/nose that wasn’t going away. I called the vet and she was worried that there might be something she missed. So Holliday’s currently on antibiotics for a tooth or lung infection, and she’s also taking bene-bac to protect her tummy. Currently day4 (out of 10) and she’s looking a bit better. She knows when it’s time (twice a day) for her medicine esp because it’s banana flavored. Ghibli and Ricoh are quite jealous she’s getting a “treat” and they are not lol
