“Well if it was dramatic it wouldn’t have worked because everyone would have noticed. The whole point of a break out is stealth. So. Uh, dur. I thought you knew this kind of stuff”

“It would have become dramatic when they noticed I was missing. With how much they were checking in on me I think we wouldn’t have gotten out.”

“You just need to have more faith in me. That’s all a hypothetical situation though, let’s move onto the situation at hand. How are you feeling? You alright? ”

“Dude… If someone didn’t nag you, you’d be dead.” He said as he hovered over him. “And watch where you’re going.” He cautioned as they neared an intersection.  

He stopped and watched for cars or people walking by before crossing the road. “ I can see where I’m going. I’m more aware than you think and can take care of myself. Well almost. I can’t fix the fact people think I’m crazy for talking to nothing!”

Tadashi shook his head but remained silent. 

Hiro puffed his cheeks as he trucked along, keeping an eye out for people so he wouldn’t end up crashing into them. He kept up the nice pace until he got home, only waving to his aunt before going upstairs. Maybe he would get the hint and leave him alone.

He followed him up the stairs and hovered near the corner of the room. “You really should clean…”

He frowned hearing his voice. Guess he decided to tag along after all. “ it’s not that messy. You can walk around easy. It just looks cluttered with stuff. ” he defended, he had a lot layer out on his desk and his bed was no where near made, with the divider closed it makes the space look smaller and jumbled.

He shook his head softly. "True, but I don't want you getting hurt or even sick if you have mold growing in here somewhere..."

Wirt smiled. “I look pretty good for over a hundred, yeah?” He chuckled.

He nodded. “You look awesome. Not a day over sixteen.”

Wirt laughed a little at that. “Thank you. So, Tadashi, what is Baymax?”

“He’s a medical robot that I built before I nearly died… He’s what I was going to have check you.”

“Ah, ok.” Wirt decided not to question it. After all, his best friend was a demon, didn’t get much weirder than that.

“Yeah. He was my graduate level project.” He replied as he started to dig for his tracker system. 

“Oh?” Wirt tilted his head, genuinely curious.

“Yeah. Before my accident of stupidity… I was a robotics major. I wanted to help people. Baymax was going to be my application into the grad level program.” He explained as he pulled the tracker out. “I hope Hiro didn’t find my trackers.”

Wirt frowned a little at the short story he had just been told. It wasn’t much to go on, but the emotion in his voice was sickeningly familiar. His had been due to his own stupidity as well. “Well, he’s a genius…so he may have. But hey, let’s hold to hope, shall we?” he chuckled a bit.

“They have been in his clothes since he was thirteen. He didn’t know about them then… And he didn’t know about them when he was fourteen either.” He added with a shrug.

“Hmm…fair enough. There a reason you have them on him?” Wirt raised a brow. “Oh, wait…bot fighting, right?” Hiro had tried to explain it too him but had had a hard time, since Wirt was from 1992.

“Yep… bot fighting.” He said as he fiddled with the machine. “I take it he told you all about it?”

“Yeah. I didn’t understand too much, I’m from 1992 after all.” Wirt shrugged a bit. “But I got the jist.”

He shook his head. “Wow... you are a ways from home...”

He sunk back in his seat slightly, surprised by the sudden exceleration in speed. “Fair enough I suppose, just give me more warning next time it starts hurting you so we can duck in cover in a less dangerous situation. Okay?”

“Other than that though..what to talk about in a awkward long car ride..” He mumbled, looking out the window.

“Maybe we can talk about how we are gonna survive in the woods?” He asked as he stared out the windshield. Tadashi wasn’t going to risk taking his eyes off the road at this speed. “But yeah I’ll give you a heads up next time we aren’t being followed.”

He nodded his head, resting his head in his hand. “Fair enough. I don’t know about you, but as much as I hate snow, a place with weather changes wouldn’t be too bad. So long as getting snowed in doesn’t mean like it did last time. Plus, sick folk can’t get move around in the cold if healthy people can’t. I think the problem would be food and water. There’s always trapping and other stuff depending where we go..I sound like that guy from the show. Uhh.."man vs wild?” Weird right?“

He chuckled a bit as he dodged a stalled bus. "I think we should probably leave the state then... But I think we'll do best in terrain that is familiar to us." He added as he slowed down slightly. "But yeah we'll be living that show..."
