MY DOWNFALL IS I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I’M DOING
So, input plz. This is an anime convention, as such, fanart is going to be a big thing. Right now I have 5 absolute pieces planned (Sailor Moon, Tokyo Ghoul, Pokemon, Legend of Zelda and an original), and I’m not sure what a good amount of art is. I’d like to try to do 10 if possible, and I’m open to suggestions for fanart as far as what’s popular
Also what’s a good amount of product to have? Obviously I’m doing prints, but I’m struggling with sizes and quantity to keep on hand. I’m also considering baggies of mini stickers and small (like 4x4) traditional drawings. Also maybe sketch commissions as time allows?
I really need some guidance so if any of you have suggestions / tips / experience I would love to hear it ;u;
Stickers, little keychains, prints, be open for sketch commissions (if you have the ability), badge commissions, and other fun things. If you like doing on the spot type work, I know I had a blast at the last few conventions I went to with people tossing me their sketchbook, a few bucks and a little time to doodle something personal for them! That is honestly where I made the bulk of my money.
Physical product isnt something I made too much of but I will ask a few friends what kind of advice they can give you! (from @uselesswarlock this is just my art blog)

Ready to go original art, aside from the on the spot commissions! Trading card sized, small sketches, big sketches, colored, black and white, etc. Buttons and stickers are always good things. Freebie book marks with artist info and the like as an alternative to a business card.
The 4x4 traditional things I mentioned are going to be ready-to-go, probably SU if that’s still a thing. Adding some size variety is a good thing to keep in mind though
I was actually going to get some business cards printed (I probably still will), but the bookmark is a great suggestion
I would absolutely love to do con badges. I was hoping maybe I could coordinate with the staff to do a pitch for me if I did theirs for free xD We’ll see how that goes though

The Knight would never say such a thing to someone he barely knew. Especially when a child would be involved with such if the feeling were reciprocated. Yet some compulsion made him spit it through clenched teeth.
“What if….I told you…I want you to be mine?” If felt like someone was searing his brain.
They'd crossed paths with one another at the inn, and rather than try to socialize with other strangers, Fae had attempted casual small talk with the Death Knight. Not something she normally bothered with, but it was much easier after a few frosty pints.
And for once, in all their meetings, things seemed to be going rather smoothly between Fae and Kal.
And then he had to make it all weird...
The mage lifted a brow, right away, noticing the tightness of his jaw as he grit his teeth.
"Um..." Fae was pretty sure he hadn't meant that, much less wanted to say it.
"I don't think you're drunk enough to say things like that to me. And I know I'm not drunk enough to hear them and forget them."
