MOD: I just want to say, Thank you everyone for the lovely welcome back! I'm currently working on a new update, but there's lots of story points that need to be worked out (since the next post will be a flash back.) I've been wanted to explain the current state of BBPs word for a while and my last update set me up nicely for that! Anyway stay tuned guys~

bleeh I feel weirdly guilty everytime I go on here :/
I hate the fact I’ve basically abandoned this blog...Part of me would like to return to it, but It seems too late to go back now. Plus the story was just so big and directionless, It probably isn’t even worth returning to?

I don't have any excuses really. I mean I did get a job, but the main reason I haven't updated much is because I've been prioritizing other projects over this one in my free time.
I guess I'm just going through a bit of a slump with bat pony pinkie, which is horrible timing because the next update is really important! It's the big flash back after all. (Well it feels big to me haha)
I've been writing down the story and planning things out so hopefully I can get an update completed soon. Thank you to anyone who hasn't unfollowered :( Sorry I've been so rubbish

Though since this topic has come up, let me make it clear that I have never been happy with Fluttershys design. It was (as much as I hate to admit it) rushed and a bit of a after thought. I really want to make some changes to her, namely making her body type more long and slender...ya know like an actual Deer xD

Bah! That's ridiculous! At least those artists with 5000+ followers can get like a couple hundred dollars from their patreon for single post or two. All they have to do is go "Hey I want a new computer, guess I better make a couple of posts for my blog" and BOOM they got money. It's the unpopular blogs that probably have the most stress having to deal with both life, funds, and trying to keep up their blog.
MOD: Well that’s your opinion, however I don’t think it’s fair to call mine ridiculous. Think of it this way
UNPOPULAR BLOG = they run their blog for fun, it’s a neat little hobby and it helps them improve their art and writing. It doesn’t really have anything to do with their lives outside of this.
POPULAR BLOG = It is their full time/ part time job. Some of them will rely on the money they earn through patreon, commissions or online shops to pay the bills and support themselves. Yes this includes buying a new computer if they need one. They must also keep relevant within their fandom by being active, even if they want to work on something different.
Both of these bloggers will worry about life, funds and trying to keep up their blog… one of them just experiences a tad more pressure from their blog then the other. Can you guess which one I'm talking about?
You do this blog to destress? That makes me so happy to hear. Most artist complain about their ask blog taking too much out of them.
MOD: I think the artists who have a hard time are the ones with 5000+ followers and a really vocal fan base who put a lot of pressure on them. I can imagine that would suck the fun out of drawing after a while. I feel very lucky to have a good balance!
To mod; do whatever you need to do. We can wait for awhile while you do what you need to do
Why thank you. i'm very lucky to have followers who don't put much pressure on me. :D However I still plan on updating every sunday at least for now. Running this blog is quite a good way to destress.
