Dalinar is like, really hard to draw
Haunted by the Rift.
What I imagine Dalinar's horror felt like when his memory of the events resurfaced.
Out out, Mister Goofums. A fear submitted by Lauren to Deep Dark Fears - thanks!
Happy 32nd birthday to my sibling @awesomepaste who requested Boromir and Faramir being happy for their birthday present. And why shouldn't they get to be happy?
hey kkc squad I’m curious
Depending on how work goes this year it might be a while before the actual final piece sees the light of day - so I'm releasing the animatic for the Guards! Guards! animated trailer on the unsuspecting public. I was hoping it could work as both a trailer/intro animation to a non-existant Guards! Guards! animated show, and I think it turned out pretty neat! I hope you enjoy.
A commission for @morganadelacour , a stone circle on green opal
in today's letter: cicero tells brutus he won't write in any detail about a recent senate meeting, and then writes in a lot of detail about that recent senate meeting! cicero complains (again!) about brutus not killing mark antony when he had the chance! he thinks brutus should take the chance he does now have to kill mark antony's brother! a liiiiiittle bit of bitching about dolabella! cicero complains that brutus' letter to the senate was so pathetic that everyone thought it was a forgery! cicero wants brutus to start killing! and cicero wants his son to learn virtue from brutus—not that his son needs the help or anything!
I hope that Kaladin has time to take a nice long nap at some point in the series
ID: A digital painting of Kaladin that's styled like an oil portrait. Kaladin is turned to the side but he is looking at the viewer. He is shown from the neck up, with only his white collar showing for any clothing. He has dark skin, narrow dark eyes and long messy black hair that falls in waves around his face coming to a rest on his shoulders. He has some loose strands of hair covering his forehead but his slave marks are visible. Kaladin has a very tired but relaxed expression, and under his eyes are dark as if he hasn't slept in a while. /end ID

If Gavilar Had Survived a Little Longer
Gavilar: Tell Thaidakar he's too late!
Szeth: I don't know who that is
Gavilar: Restares? Sadeas?
Szeth: My masters are...
Gavilar: Don't tell me, I want to guess. Was it Nale?
Szeth: You mean Nin? No.
Gavilar: Taln is mad that I want to take his place?
Szeth: Stop guessing Heralds
Gavilar: I've got it! The stormfather! I knew he was lying!
Szeth: You're insane.
Gavilar: Elhokar or Dalinar making a play for the throne?
Szeth: No
Gavilar: Navani's really mad that I yelled at her?
Szeth: Is there anyone in your family you don't suspect of killing you? It wasn't them.
Gavilar: I don't suspect Jasnah. Was it Taravingian? He seems to be up to more than he lets on.
Szeth: Don't be silly, I would never work for him.
Gavilar: Is the king of Jah Keved so scared of our alliance with the Parshendi that he’d have me killed?
Szeth: How do you have so many enemies but still have more than you think? My masters are the Parshendi.
Gavilar: That doesn't make any sense!?
Szeth: RAFO
Gavilar: ...Take this sphere and tell my brother he must find the most important words a man can say.
Szeth: Dying requests are sacred in my culture, I will do as you ask.
Gavilar: Wait! As my dying request can you instead kill everyone on I guessed except my family members?
Szeth: ...Okay not that sacred.
