So Damon Thomas, the director of the finale said that "Eve just asks Villanelle to help her to make it stop because she can’t stop herself from wanting to be with Villanelle.“ The whole time I thought that she was talking about Villanelle helping her to stop the darkness inside her that was being encouraged by Villanelle’s. But it was actually about Villanelle helping Eve to stop wanting her. So Eve wants Villanelle so much that she can’t stop herself, she can’t avoid how she feels about her. And in the end they can’t walk away from each other or from their feelings. This is a love story.
WHAT
so true queen
this is the plot of killing eve
If Villanelle has retired, what’s left? Oksana? I can’t see that working for MI6. Can you?
You can literally see her heartbreaking as she realizes another person only sees her as a ruthless killing machine, and not a real human with anything else to offer.

Lots of people have made observations about how reading fanfic is watching the same two people fall in love over and over and somehow it never gets old, but sometimes it feels more like I’m falling in love with the same two people over and over, and that never gets old either. I love how a really good fic can make it feel like The First Time, the first fic you read, all over again.
