To anyone who suffers by the hands of others, themselves or their situation. To all those who’ve ever felt broken or beaten, or bruised or defeated, To all who have tripped or fallen. To anyone who feels that they are hanging on by a thread, that they are skating on thin ice, that they are walking a tightrope blind folded.

For everyone who has had more than a bad day. Who aren’t just battling bumps in the road, but are fighting a war while climbing a mountain. For those who feel they’ve spent the better part of their life swimming against the current just to reach a branch to hold on to for some relief. 

Whether you have, are, or will, go through it. You are still here. Despite what you’ve been through, despite the trails and tribulations, despite the heartbreak and despair. Despite it  a l l. You are still here. You have to know that your continuing life, is what pumps blood through my veins, it’s what puts air in my lungs, it’s what my heart beats for, it’s what brings meaning to my life.

You shine a light on my soul.

Because, you heal, because you get up, because you’ve kept fighting, kept climbing, kept swimming, because you keep holding on. Because you’re still here.

You all i n s p i r e me to be better today than I was yesterday, and give me h o p e that I’ll be better tomorrow than I am today.

If I could, I would tell each and every one of you, that you are beautiful. That you are awe inspiring. That you are magnificent. That all of your imperfections, make you perfect. That you are worth so much more than you will ever know. That you bring joy and happiness to people around you, even people you don’t know. I would tell each and every one of you, that you m a t t e r, that you’ve made a d i f f e r e n c e.
