There is a big problem with your sense of self entitlement if you believe that people can't rp a character a certain way. Whether it goes against the grain of how you play them because of a different canon point, au, or just plain old perspective shouldn't, and never will, matter. The joy of playing a character is getting to interact with others, learn insights into how they play them that you never would've thought of otherwise. When you sit there, and you shut people down for daring to play your precious baby in a different light than you? To the extent that you're blatantly ignoring examples and canon points that support how they play them? Big problem.

Global Mental Health Day is October 10th, and in Australia, it’s being celebrated as Mental Health week, October 5th till 11th.

I remember seeing these posts a long while ago, and it meant so much to me then. It still means so much to me now. Kingdom Hearts is a game about friendship, the strength of heart, and the power we have to change fate.

To me, personally, nothing exhibits it better than this. Thank you to every single person who posted over those days.

I don't know what I should be feeling right now, but I hope not okay is part of that list. I was...honestly just thinking of this friend recently, how much I missed them. It hurts but I figured it was over and done with, everything had been said and done. I wasn't going to approach them again. It's been two months. But I guess I'm still okay as a sounding board for their pain.

30 Uncommon Character Development Questions ( send me a number )

  1. What position does your character sleep in? ( i.e; stomach, side, back, etc. ) Describe why they do this — optional.
  2. Does your character have any noteworthy features? Freckles? Dimples? A scar somewhere unusual? etc.
  3. Does your character have an accent? What does it sound like?
  4. Do they have any verbal tics? Do they have trouble pronouncing certain words or getting their thoughts across clearly?
  5. What are their chief tension areas? 
  6. If you were to pick one song — and only one song — to describe your character, what would it be and why?
  7. How does your character perceive themselves? Positive? Negative? Neutral?
  8. Are they a quick thinker or do they need time to sort through their thoughts?
  9. Does your character dream or are their nights filled with an empty blackness? Describe a dream they’ve had or a night they couldn’t sleep and what they did to preoccupy their time.
  10. If they had a choice, would they prefer a subway or a bus for public transportation?
  11. What do they think of creation? Do they believe in evolution or do they believe in God? What is their religion like?
  12. Describe 5 unusual characteristics your muse has.
  13. Have they ever been so overwhelmed they had to stop and take a break from something? 
  14. Are they a team player or do they prefer to be solo?
  15. Can they multi-task or must they focus on one subject at a time?
  16. What are their best school subjects? What are their worst? List five of each.
  17. Is your character an introvert or an extrovert? How do they handle big crowds of people?
  18. Are they a leader, do they prefer to follow, or would they rather just stay on the sidelines altogether?
  19. If your character was suddenly challenged, would they rather run away or stay and fight?
  20. If your character was allowed to murder one person without any consequences, who would that person be and why?
  21. Your character has been granted 3 wishes; what would they wish for and why?
  22. Does your character trust people right off the bat or does it take them some time to warm up to someone?
  23. Do they prefer romance or affection? What is the quickest way to your character’s heart?
  24. Does your character have any enemies? If so, who and why?
  25. Do they have any weird bedroom habits? Any unusual kinks?
  26. How does your character prepare for bed? Do they sleep at all or can they stay awake for days on end without trouble?
  27. If your character had one thing to say to their parents before they died, what would it be?
  28. Are they afraid of death? Do they have any regrets?
  29. Does your character get restless when things are too quiet or do they favour solitude and silence? Why?
  30. Finally; if your character was forced to eat one thing for the rest of their life, what would they choose and why?

Bloops were a weird noise anyway. He never was very computer savvy, considering he literally smashed keyboards together one time when Leon asked him to plug it in. He could’ve sworn he meant something else, he swears by it. Everything looked fairly normal to the boy, so he just assumed that maybe he hadn’t actually done anything. His finger gently hovers over another key before someone speaks up.

"Who’s there?!" Sora is quick to whip around, especially at the voice. It sounds… oddly familiar though. Like someone he knows, but at the same time different. There’s this sense in his gut that tells him so, at least. That’s when he spots the hooded figure leaning against the doorway, and Sora’s quick to jerk back. It’s more of an instinct, considering that he hasn’t exactly had the best track record with dudes in black coats.

"What’s Organization XIII doing in the King’s castle?!" Sora found himself saying it aloud, but even so, the other might answer his question.

Hmph, of course. There's something entirely too discomfiting about facing the real thing in comparison to data- there's barbed words on the tip of his tongue, but what's the point when the information he was created to protect has already been compromised?

Even so, he has to take a deep breath before giving a response, clenched hands slowly going lax at his side. Instigating a fight would be a bad idea. Really, really bad. "They're not." Unbeknownst to Sora, the corners of Roxas' lips twitch upwards. This is going to go right over his head, "But you're not, either. In Disney Castle."

          So this was turning into a staring contest? He could deal with that. Even if the other blond pulled the hood over his head, it wouldn’t cause so much of a blink from the male himself. The coil was as of now of no interest to him and he turned the screen off. There was a moment’s pause before he finally decided to at least attempt conversation. “S’there a reason you’re here?”

He doesn't actually need to blink, but it's recognised as a human pattern either way, eyes going pointedly to the coil round Noiz' wrist as the screen flickers off. For a moment, his image dulls, like his own brightness settings are being adjusted-- but only for a moment. "Not particularly."
