Confused about orbs? We’ve all been there. I made this handy guide.
This started out with me just wanting to sketch a lace dress and then poof levitating witch making either the sickest pumpkin pie you’ve ever eaten or some poisonous concoction. Or both.
Tiny little animated pixel art!
tiffanisis this makes me think of you!

Dreamscapes
Sometimes I'm lucky enough to remember my dreams.
I think they're stress dreams, because there's an urgent undertone the whole time, but I tend to wake up inspired to write a short story or something because they take place in the most vast, incredible landscapes.
Like a hotel shaped like a giant clock tower, full of elevators and secret passageways revealed by tilting a candlestick to the right. And there's this vague feeling that everyone is mechanical and they're watching us.
Or Disney World, except it's much bigger - like the lines are the width of a two-lane street and full of people - and there's this impending feeling of the apocalypse while waiting to ride the submarine.
Or a college campus, and the dorm is as big as the Weyr in Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern series, and it's also full of elevators and rooms that seem to change size while you're in them, and I'm always lost and looking for the bathroom.
Or Portland, but it's a mess of highways that look like the race track from a video game, and I'm stuck in traffic the whole time trying to get across town. The signs rearrange themselves as I pass and I end up driving off a ramp and into free-fall or get stuck in a lane that has a vertical slope.
Tonight's dream took place in an underworld that reminded me a lot of Bioshock, and seemed to revolve slightly around the myth of Persephone. There was Hades, singing in a temple at the bottom of a lake because he was so sad, and a ghost train that traveled between the past, present, and future, and library books that found their way home when you placed them on the ground.
They make me think of Jenn and her prophetic dreams, and the dreams about her Grandmother. And they're so fun that I want to go back to sleep immediately upon waking up, even though there's something spooky about them.
I'm trying to find my way in every one of them, and they change so quickly that I have trouble keeping up. Maybe it's my mind's way of preparing me for situations where I have very little control, or scary situations where I have to fight.
What is it about dreams that is so fascinating, that people write stories about them or try to put them into art? I wish I could paint these. They would at least make some very trippy Christmas presents.
Never in a million years
I don’t even watch the show and I know these two are fucking

Aldous Huxley (via branchesnroots)
Branbrapple Cobbler (noun) Banana bread apple cobbler. "Gee, I could sure go for some branbrapple cobbler right about now."
“Every girl is expected to have caucasian blue eyes, full Spanish lips, a classic button nose, hairless Asian skin with a California tan, a Jamaican dance hall ass, long Swedish legs, small Japanese feet, the abs of a lesbian gym owner, the hips of a nine-year-old boy, the arms of Michelle Obama and doll tits. This is why everyone is struggling.”

Forever my hero.
This is the greatest thing I’ve ever seen
Neither Courage Wolf nor Calming Manatee were doing much to help my anxiety, but I knew they were both on to something.
So, I created Calmage Wolfatee.

This is glorious beyond my capacity to comprehend.

Zombowie (noun). Zombie David Bowie. In space. "That guy looks like Zombowie."
At an HRC event tonight in Las Vegas, actress Ellen Page came out as gay.
"I’m here today because I am gay, and because I can make a difference. To help others have an easier and more hopeful time. Regardless, for me, I feel a personal obligation and a social responsibility."
OH MY GOD YOU GUYS.
