I always gotta remind myself at checkout that the "donations" these companies collect end up being used to write off taxes for the company, so they use your money to get off of paying any of their own money on taxes which go towards helping all citizens. If they really cared about donating they could donate a more substantial amount from their profits and their CEO's multi-million dollar salary instead
