Nicolás Dumit Estévez, in collaboration with our friends at El Museo del Barrio are organizing En Familia: El Museo as Genealogy, a project that aims to find unforeseen connections between those who currently and formerly work, exhibit, talk, or perform at this iconic institution.
Participants are asked to send: your first name, three "selfie" photos as jpeg files, and an email authorization to publish your photo (“I ___ allow El Museo del Barrio and Nicolás Dumit Estévez to use my image for “Office Hours"). Also, briefly describe what you like best about what you do or have done at El Museo, or anything about yourself and your interests and hobbies.
These materials will be organized in an online album and are a study of art at social exchange, something Nicolás has examined for the past decade.
