My last project for the season, probably! I painted this shield with a design to match the other shield, but I painted this one while it was attached to the ship!

Got to take a close look at the carvings I worked on this season, back on the boat where they belong! Feels great!
Today I painted this thing to match this other thing, but I don't know what to call either of them.
Bell gargoyle is all done! That's the last of my land-based painting projects this year, but I still have some other projects to do before the season is over.
A couple nice crisp pelican photos from right before he left the building. I'm really pleased with how he came out!

He's essentially done, but I'm just not satisfied with his beak yet, so I'm gonna put in one more day's work.
Pelican progress from today. He's starting to take on a more accurate coloration!
Progress on the pelican. He's almost done now. You can see the notches that the dockline has carved into him over the years.
I used a stencil to paint this pattern onto the shield, but somehow when I was making it I mixed up which part to cut out and made some extra work for myself...
