Ibn ʿAbbās (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “A good deed leaves a radiance on the face, قال ابن عباس: أن للحسنة ضياء في الوجه light in the heart, ونوراً في القلب strength in the body, وقوة في البدن expansion in al-rizq (ie: provision), وسعة في الرزق and maḥabbah (ie: love) in the hearts of creation. ومحبة في قلوب الخلق. Profound

Everytime you make duaa, rest your heart knowing that something happened. Something happened in the Heavens. Allah responded in some way. Some blessing is coming your way. Even if nothing changes around you, some good –even better than you asked for–will reach you in Allah's perfect timing.
