(Emma hands Hook the bean. He throws it into the water to create a portal) Charming: So who are we up against? Who are Greg and Tamara? Rumple: They're merely pawns. Manipulated by forces far greater than they can see. They have no idea who they are truly working for. Emma: And who's that? Rumple: Someone we all should fear. (The ship sails into the portal to Neverland)

Emma: What the hell are you doing here? Hook: Helping. Emma: Well you're too late. Hook: Am I? Emma: I thought you didn't care about anyone but yourself. Hook: Maybe I just needed reminding that I could. Regina: Enough waiting around let's go. Hook: Go where? I thought we were saving the town? Charming: We already did. Emma: We need to get Henry. Greg and Tamara took him through a portal Hook: Well, I offer my ship and my services to help follow them. Regina: Well that's great Hook, but how will we track them? Rumple: Leave that to me. I can get us where we need to go. Snow: Then let's do it.

Rumple: They've taken Henry? Charming: Yeah. You're The Dark One. Do something. Emma: Gold. Help us. Rumple: There's no way. I've spent a lifetime trying to cross worlds to find my son. There's no way in this world without a portal. Regina: So that's it? He's gone forever? I refuse to believe that. Belle: What is that? Emma: Hook...

Emma: This plan could fail. We use that bean now and we can get away for sure. We will survive. Snow: But it's wrong... Emma I killed her mother. Emma: You did that to Cora 'cause you had to. Snow: I did it because it was easy. It was a mistake. There were other paths. Harder paths and I wish I had taken them. So please Emma honey... let's take the hard path. Because if we don't we will be building a future on Regina's blood. Emma: Okay. (Charming tosses Emma the bean but Hook grabs it before she can.) Hook: You're all mad. I can live with myself.  Emma: Give it back! Hook: If she wants to die for us I say let her. Emma: You and I... we understand each other. Look out for yourself and you'll never get hurt, right? Hook: Worked quite well for me. Emma: Yeah til the day that it doesn't. We're doing this. It might be stupid it might be crazy but we're doing it. So you can join us and be a part of something or you can do what you can do best and be alone. Hook: Quite passionate, Swan. (Hook hands her the bag) Hook: Why are you really doing this? Emma: That kid just lost his father today I'm not letting him lose a mother, too. Hook: His father? Who is Henry's father? Emma: Neal. Hook: Baelfire? Emma: Yeah.

Regina: Oh, Henry! Henry: Mom! (The apartment shakes for a moment) Emma: Regina, was that...? Regina: Yes. The diamond was activated. Henry: So we're all gonna die. Regina: You were born here so you'll live. Henry: But... I'll be alone. Regina: I'm so sorry Henry. Emma: That's not gonna happen. I'm not gonna let it. You did this now make it stop. Regina: I can't. There's no way. Emma: Well figure it out! It's your fault! Henry: Stop! I already lost my dad I don't want to lose anyone else. We have to work together. Hook: From the mouths of babes. I'd say the lad has a point... (Charming punches Hook) Charming: That's for the last time we met. Hook: Bloody hell... Charming: Tell us why you're here before I use something else other than my fist Hook: I think threatening to kill me is bit redundant when we're all about to die anyway. Emma: No thanks to you. Regina just told us you were working Tamara and Greg to get your revenge. Hook: Well that was before they told me I had to die to get it. Emma: We don't have time for this we have a real problem. Hook: Which is why I'm here. Staring death in the face has made me realize if there's one thing I want more than my revenge it's my life. So shall we stop this thing now and then resume bickering? Regina: There is no stopping it. The best thing I can do is slow it down, but that will only delay the inevitable. Charming: Or give us the time we need. Snow: The time for what? Charming: We steal back the beans. Use them to get everyone back into the enchanted forest before Storybrooke is gone. Emma: How? We don't even know where Greg and Tamara are. Hook: Well I do. And I can help. Emma: Yourself. You'll take them a leave us all behind. Why should we trust you? Charming: We won't have to. I'll go with him. If he tries anything I'll shoot him in the face Hook: Quite hostile aren't we? Charming: Just being clear. Emma: I'll take Regina to slow down the diamond and give you guys time. Mary Margaret- take Henry and gather everyone, make sure they're ready to go as soon as we have those beans. Regina: Henry. Before you go. I'm sorry for what's happened. I tried to be the person that you wanted me to be and I failed and I won't let you be alone. Just know that I love you. Henry: I love you, too. Hook: Things we do for our children...

(In another room in the hospital, Emma interrogates Hook, who is handcuffed to the bed.) Emma: Where’s Cora? Hook: What? (Hook goes to move his arm and realizes he’s stuck.) Hook: Again? You’re really into this, aren’t you? Damn, that hurts. Emma: Told you – cracked a few ribs. Where’s Cora? Hook: You look good, I must say. All ‘where’s Cora?’ in a commanding voice. Chills. Emma: You have all sorts of sore places. I can make you hurt. (Emma pushes her hand into his ribs, causing him to wince in pain.) Hook: I have no idea where Cora is. She has her own agenda. Let’s talk about something I am interested in – my hook. May I have it back? Or is there another attachment you’d prefer? Emma: You’re awfully chipper for a guy who just failed to kill his enemy, then got hit by a car. Hook: Well, my ribs may be broken, but… Everything else is still intact. Which is more than can be said for other bad days I’ve had. Plus, I did some quality damage to my foe. Emma: You hurt Belle. Hook: I hurt his heart. Belle’s just where he keeps it. He killed my love. I know the feeling. Emma: Keep smiling, buddy. You’re chained down, he’s on his feet, immortal, has magic, and you hurt his girl. If I were to pick dead guy of the year? I’d pick you.

(Hook and the driver of the car are wheeled into the hospital on stretchers by the paramedics, while the rest of the group from the accident site follow behind them.) Belle: I don’t know what’s going on. Paramedic: Car versus pedestrian. Chest trauma from the wheel. Pedestrian’s got contusions, broken ribs. Nurse: Go to X-ray. Pedestrian first. Emma: Hide him. Nurse: What? Emma: Find a room and hide him. (Mr. Gold enters.) Mr. Gold: Belle. What’s going on? David: Get him out of here! Mr. Gold: Well, what’s happening? Belle! Leroy: I’d like to know that myself. Mr. Gold: Belle! Belle! (Dr. Whale finally joins everyone.) Dr. Whale: Everybody, calm down! Mr. Gold. Everything will be fine. She’s in good hands here. I promise.

(Emma finds a now alert Hook at the side of the road.) Hook: Hey, beautiful. Here, I didn’t think you’d notice. (She leans down and pushes on his ribs. He yells out in pain.) Emma: Your ribs are broken. Hook: Oh, that must be why it hurts when I laugh. Did you see his face? His one true love, gone in an instant! Just like Milah, crocodile! When you took her from me… Mr. Gold: But you took her first. (Mr. Gold lunges at Hook, digging his cane into his neck.) Emma: Gold, are you insane?! Mr. Gold: Yes, I am! David: You can’t do that! Mr. Gold: I can if you let me go. Emma: You don’t want her to see that. Mr. Gold: I’m a stranger to her. Emma: Murder is a bad first impression. David: What would Belle want you to do? (An ambulance arrives, distracting Mr. Gold long enough for David to pull him off of Hook.) David: Over here! (The paramedics head towards Hook first, but Emma directs their attention to the driver of the car instead.) Emma: No! Him! Take care of him. He can wait.

(Cora and Hook stand near the whirlpool. Cora takes out the compass, and holds it out for Hook to grab.) Cora: I told you I’d deliver you to Rumpelstiltskin. Now don’t let go. Unless, you want to end up someplace that isn’t Storybrooke. (Hook takes the other side of the compass, and the two of them prepare to jump. However, Emma, Snow, and Mulan arrive at the scene in time to stop them. Snow shoots the compass out of their hands.) Snow: You’re not going anywhere. This portal’s taking us home. The compass – get it. Cora: Find it first. I’ll take care of them. (Cora shoots a fireball towards the group, but Mulan deflects it with her sword. Emma draws her own sword and starts a fight with Hook over the compass. Cora continues to shoot fireballs at Mulan, while Snow attempts to assist by shooting arrows from a distance. Cora dodges Mulan by magically disappearing, but the bag containing Aurora’s heart is left behind. It is flung towards the whirlpool, but is caught just in time by Hook before falling in. He tosses the bag to Mulan.) Hook: I may be a pirate, but I bristle at the thought of a woman losing her heart – unless it’s over me. (Mulan looks conflicted over what to do. Snow approaches her.) Snow: Go! Mulan: No, but you need the compass! Snow: And Aurora needs her heart. (Mulan gives Snow her sword.) Mulan: Take it. It deflects her magic. (Mulan exits the battle. Emma and Hook resume fighting.) Emma: I had no idea you had such a soft side. Hook: I don’t. Just like a fair fight. (They continue to duel.) Hook: Good form. But not good enough. (Hook grabs Emma’s leg and manages to flip her onto her back. Meanwhile, Snow and Cora square off. Hook slowly slides his Hook down Emma’s sword and pins her to the ground.) Hook: Normally, I prefer to do other more enjoyable activities with a woman on her back. With my life on the line, you’ve left me no choice. A bit of advice? When I jab you with my sword, you’ll feel it. You might want to quit. (Emma feels for the compass buried in the sand under her back.) Emma: Why would I do that when I’m winning? (Emma grabs the compass and holds it up. Hook is momentarily distracted long enough for Emma to push him off of her. They briefly duel, until Emma gets the upper hand.) Emma: Thanks. (Emma, with the compass in her fist, pulls back her arm and punches Hook in the face. He collapses to the ground, unconscious.) Emma: Now let’s go home!

(The group is still scouring the cell in search of the ink. Emma is still looking at the paper.) Emma: What does this even mean? Snow: He was obsessed with you, Emma. You were the key to breaking the curse. Aurora: We’ve looked everywhere. There’s no ink in this cell. Snow: Well, it has to be. He told David. Emma: You were in a Netherworld. Maybe something got lost in translation. Mulan: No. She heard right. Snow: You found it? (Mulan holds up an empty bottle.) Mulan: In a manner of speaking. There was ink in the cell. Emma: Son of a bitch… (Suddenly, Aurora grabs a rock and throws it against a lever just outside of the cell. The door to the cell falls down, trapping the four of them inside.) Emma: Aurora, what are you doing?! (Cora and Hook arrive.) Cora: Helping me. (Cora magically summons the compass to her.) Emma: No! Cora: No. Don’t waste your energy, dear. Rumpelstiltskin himself couldn’t escape from this cell. Thank you, Aurora. We couldn’t have done it without you. Emma: Why would you do this? Snow: How could you? Cora: Don’t blame her. She was only doing what she was told. (Cora pulls out Aurora’s heart.) Emma: You took her heart? Hook: Actually, I did. It was a gift. (Cora squeezes the heart, causing Aurora to yell out in pain.) Cora: Forgive us. We’d love to stay, but Storybrooke awaits. (The two of them turn to leave, but Emma calls out to Hook.) Emma: Hook. Wait. Please don’t do this. My son is in Storybrooke. He needs me. Hook: Perhaps you should’ve considered that, before you abandoned me on that beanstalk. Emma: You would’ve done the same. Hook: Actually, no. Hook: Do you know what this is, Emma? (He takes out the mummified bean that the giant had on his necklace.) Emma: The bean that the giant kept. Hook: Yes, indeed. A pirate always keeps a souvenir of his conquest, but this… Well, this is much more than a mere trinket. This is a symbol. Something that was once magical, full of hope, possibility… Now look at it. Dried up, dead, useless. Much like you. The time for making deals is done, just as I’m done… With you.

(Emma pulls Hook out from under the debris.) Emma: Hook. Hook: You are bloody brilliant. Amazing. May I see it? The compass. (Emma holds out the compass for Hook to see.) Hook: It’s more beautiful than legend. (Suspicious, Emma withdraws her hand and pockets the compass.) Hook: Come. Let’s go. (Hook extends his hand to Emma, but, instead of taking it, Emma grabs a nearby shackle and chains Hook to the wall.) Hook: What are you doing? What are you doing? Emma: Hook, I… I… I can’t… Hook: Emma, look at me. Have I told you a lie? I brought you here. I risked my own safety to help you. The compass is in your hand. Why do this to me now? Emma: I can’t take a chance that I’m wrong about you. I’m sorry. Hook: You’re sorry? You’re sorry?! I got you here! I got you the compass! Emma: I got the compass. Hook: Well, you’re just going to leave me here to die? Have that beast to eat me, to crush my bones? Emma: He’s not a beast. And you’re not going to die. I just need a head start – that’s all. Hook: Swan. Swan! Swan! 

(Hook and Emma are still in the treasure room.) Emma: So it’s just…in here somewhere? Hook: Allegedly. Give me a boost would you, love? Emma: So I can’t see what you’re pocketing? No way. You give me a boost. Hook: Try something new, darling. It’s called trust. Emma: We do it side by side and fast. Who knows how long before the- (The giant’s footsteps are heard in the distance.) Hook: Someone’s up. Quickly. Get under something. (The giant charges into the treasure room, the stomping causing part of the ceiling to cave in. Debris falls onto where Hook is standing.) Emma: Hook? (The giant then charges at Emma. He reaches down to grab her.) 

(Emma and Hook continue to explore the treasure room.) Emma: They kill all the giant housekeepers, too? How we going to find a compass in this mess? Hook: By looking. Start searching. I wonder how much treasure we could carry down the beanstalk. …In addition to the compass, of course. (They come across a skeleton holding a sword. ‘Jack’ is etched into the blade.) Emma: What the hell? Hook: That… Would be Jack. Emma: As in Jack… Hook: The giant killer. Emma: With that toothpick? Hook: Well, it packs quite a wallop. You’d be surprised. (When Hook goes to keep walking, Emma stops him by pulling him into her arms.) Emma: Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Hook: It’s about bloody time. Emma: It’s a trip wire. Quite a security system. (They look up to see a cage attached to the trip wire.) Hook: Well, that’s a plausible excuse for grabbing me, but next time don’t stand on ceremony. Emma: Let’s find the compass and go home. After you.

(Emma and Hook enter a room filled with treasures.) Hook: They hoarded all of their greatest stolen treasures in here. Piles of jewels, and every room filled with coins. Emma: Let’s get to it. The compass. Hook: What’s your rush? Emma: How long do you think magic knockout powder lasts? Hook: I've no clue. Emma: That’s my rush. Hook: Too right, lass. Come. Everything we need is right in front of us. 

(Emma, armed with the poppy powder, has perched herself on top of a statue near the entrance of the castle. Hook, still on the ground, has found a bone.) Hook: You ready? Emma: Yeah. (Hook bangs a metal shield with the bone, the noise causing the giant to awaken. The giant exits the castle, and Emma realizes that the giant is far taller than the statue she’s sitting on.) Emma: Oh, damn it. (Hook begins to provoke the giant with taunts as he slowly leads the giant to the direction of Emma.) Hook: Hey! You big git! Yeah, you. Huh? You want to kill a human? Huh? You want to kill a human? Well, I’m the worst human around. Come on. Come on, then! Come on, then! (When the giant leads over to grab Hook, Emma throws the poppy powder in his face. The giant is knocked unconscious and falls to the ground. However, Hook is nowhere in sight.) Emma: Hook? Hook! (Hook appears from behind the giant.) Hook: He’s out cold. I don’t mean to upset you, Emma, but I think we make quite the team. Emma: Let’s go steal a compass.
