"Trumpcare" isn't dead yet. I know a lot of you are fatigued with this issue, but key Republicans in congress are banking on your complacency to pass a bill that will help their friends in the healthcare industry instead of the people they claim to represent. Don't let them have THEIR way with YOUR laws. CALL RIGHT NOW, while you have the issue and concern fresh in your head. I just did it and it was as easy as telling your cat "GET OFF OF THE TABLE". I've included the number and a little script I've pieced together from multiple sources to give you everything you need. Grab a snack, breathe, and call this number: (202) 224-3121 "Hello, my name is _______. I am a constituent of Sen. _________, and I am calling to ask them to vote against repealing and replacing the Affordable Care Act with the American Health Care Act. I want to relay a clear message to them that it's critical that the provisions and benefits of the Affordable Care Act remain in place. Since its passage, 20 million Americans have gained health care coverage, and our country is enjoying a record low uninsured rate." If they use a line or or pull some statistic out of their hats (which has happened to me), here's some statistics of your own: "Since Obamacare's coverage provisions began taking effect in 2010, the nation's uninsured rate has dropped by 7.2 percentage points, from 16 percent. That translates into 20.4 million fewer people who lacked health insurance in 2016 than in 2010. The data come from a survey released by the National Center for Health Statistics, a division of the CDC. Based on this data, it's clear that a repeal of the ACA will cause a significantly drop the number of insured US citizens and make health care unaffordable for millions. The health of our people should not be a partisan issue. Who can I speak to about this?" These people are supposed to be bound by the will of the people. Make them own up to that. You deserve representatives in congress who represent your best interests, not their own. Keep that in mind as you speak to them. #AffordableCareAct #GrahamCassidy #Trumpcare #ACArepeal

I woke up this morning and decided that when pokemon go gets some updates and trainer v trainer battles are implemented, I’m going to start my life anew as a team rocket grunt. I’ll get the outfit together and a good team with koffing and ekans- and go out to meetups so I can lose to children everywhere.

I’ll have phrases ready too. “I can’t believe it- a kid BESTED ME?” “Aw boss is gonna let me have it after this!” “You have such a strong bond with your pokemon- is that why you won? Hmph.”

there is literally so much positivity in the tags of this post i’m gonna cry– yall are so sweet

This is such a wonderful idea!! Petition for teams of people everywhere to be team rocket grunts and be nice to children !!

On Tuesday, at the United State of Women Summit in Washington D.C., first lady Michelle Obama sat down with Oprah Winfrey for a wide ranging chat. When the topic turned to what men can do for equality, Obama had two repeating words, “Be better.” She also doled out advice for women and the confusion about “bravery.”

I don’t recall a First Lady in my lifetime who was anywhere close to as inspirational and amazing as Michelle Obama.
