I’ve noticed that he is quite an emotional and sensitive guy and chokes up quite a lot lately in regards to Loki and how he has ‘found his glorious purpose’ (Zawe & son) so I’m glad that he’s truly happy because he seemed so lost for a while after the TS stuff. 🥹💗💓💖

That is who he is authentically.
They both are. That's why they were close to crying. Tom and Zawe both are so alike, it's honestly a miracle they've found one another. Both of them are singular in their families the eldest kid for Zawe and the only boy for Tom. Which means both are probably the mature responsible caretakers. Both come from an interesting intersection of privilege, middle-class and responsibility. Tom being the only son of a Scot who worked his way up into wealth from poverty, with a grandparent recognized by the queen for war service and Zawe being the daughter of a Ugandan mother with a presidential lineage who is within a marriage of two professional educators. Many a child of an African immigrant will tell you they expect excellence. Tom's parents used that newly acquired wealth to send him to the best school and Zawe's mom fought for her child's space too, despite prejudices. So then, you throw in that both took nontraditional paths...
Both loved the arts and literature. Both were arts kids who were bullied, but dug their way out of it. -Tom through being consistent and responsible and Zawe through being the witty funny girl. They just seemingly found their match. As for TS... Well, you can tell a lot in hindsight I think, from where they were then, vs. now. TS is now with a high-profile football player in a very public relationship that does wonders for her brand. If they don't last, Taylor could easily write some music about it and still profit/gain something from it. Tom, on the other hand, was very careful with his now partner/family in the beginning, not even touching her in public(!) and only just eased up a bit in the past year or so, with regular celeb appearances where he's clutching her close and grinning so hard at her, you can see every single one of his teeth. Given, the way both the press and fans reacted to his last relationship, I think he learned and grew from the experience and adjusted to protect that. I speculate that goes especially given the extra factor of her being a Black woman, of biracial/cultural heritage, English and Ugandan, with unambiguous African features (full lips, broad nose, and a cute gap in her teeth). I think the relationship with TS taught him a lot. Previously, Tom was feeling himself as a celeb, and because he had stans who loved him no matter what... When he did get a bit out there, it was always met with love. From his goofy dancing being praised to sometimes very obviously having imbibed before press and being a bit much wording-wise with the double-ententes, flirting, and overly-indulging fans and press. Tom didn't experience that outside-fandom gaze on a large scale until TS, when not only their fans collided but the larger press... yikes. So, it all converged then to finally show him the truth. He was not being smart about his presentation as a celebrity, but wreckless, because... heart on his sleeve mixed-in with some big-headed (I'm untouchable) smug his fans gave him and the true wider perception revealed that old Tom was “cringe” (and this is before the shirt yall, i.e. kicking the chair over while dancing). Press took advantage of his honesty and sensitivity, after the mess and rightly... He stepped back and reassessed.
Maybe even his handler/pr told him this very thing and he agreed. He stopped imbibing before press (or quit altogether) went back to his roots; to audiences, spaces, people, and venues that didn't gaf about Loki and found himself again, w/o the ego his MCU fans inflated. He grew, and in the process he found an authentic amazing woman that he fell in love with and decided to do better as a man, because of how important this is. You can literally see the "I can't believe how lucky I am" on his face every time he's around her. His more composed approach now to public forums is what some fans wrongly think means something negative is going on. No, he's experienced growth and maturity and has a family he wants to protect. So he's much more considering now in his press and appearances, while still accommodating his audience, which is great! That's it. He is telling his truth in that gif. They are his priority now and honestly, I think you can see it in his work post-Zawe and pregnancy. His approach in Essex genuinely came off like a grown-ass man with a family he adored, and his emotions with Loki were authentic while also being much lighterfooted in the role. We also don't know anything about how the birth went in terms of difficulty, stress, issues... It may have been a close call. We don't know. But she got back up on her feet and got back into shape and filmed more scenes for the Marvels. Which is why he specifically said he's proud of her in that Late Show appearance (beyond what I also speculate was a note to fans talking all kinds of crazy mean and racist shit about her... I mean some directly @'ed him) Even if the birth went smooth that is A LOT to be proud of. I am not a fan of TS, but I still somewhat admire her, because I feel she moves like men often do when it comes to her relationships as both calculating for her brand and protectively because of how early she began dating in the industry, which I think must have affected how she moves. I think it may come from self-protection. That said...
Thomas is obviously good with where his life is at this point and he's grown enough to fulfill that glorious purpose, now. That is to be worthy of this little family he adores.

Following Keiko's first Planetarium Live back in December 2023, she is planning to hold her second Planetarium Event in July, titled 『KEIKO LIVE in the DARK -Sagittarius- K019〜K020』. As the title suggests, this live will be a unique performance in which the audience can enjoy live music in complete darkness while watching a planetarium projection. *sobs* Yet another event in July. This is killing me. Wish I could be there the entire month. This is more than three weeks after Hikaru's birthday live on July 2 so there's no way I can go to both. And then there's also Wakana's summer festival live which is smack in the middle (=>July 13; no idea tho how heavily she will be featured but I'd obviously have to attend if I decided to fly to Japan in July)....*sighs* I don't see how I coud make all of this work.

On a side note, there has been a big change in regard to Hikaru's weekly Music Champ broadcasts. According to Hikaru's tweets and some fan reports, it has apparently been possible to take screenshots and make screen recordings for the past couple of weeks (for personal use only of course). I was pretty busy in April so I couldn't try it out but today I finally got to tune in again (albeit a bit late) and yup, I can confirm this, it is indeed possible to do screen recordings now. That's a huge relief!! I rarely have time to watch the broadcast live. And to be honest, I had lost interest because it was so inaccessible. Still not a huge fan of the app and the whole streaming format with 30 mins being dedicated to virtual gifts and shout-outs but hey, at least now I am no longer missing out on some of the interesting parts of Hikaru's lives so YAY for that.

I'd like to post some photos of the things I talked about in the podcast! This here is the whiskey which I always use to make highballs🥃Looks cute together with Tet. Next up are my training items. A FLOWIN training mat with pads. Apparently, professional footballer Yūto Nagatomo ⚽️ also uses them. Next are my voice training companions. These are textbooks for voice lessons. They are incredibly helpful. This is already my second Concone book. Then we have this English chat app. Here you can see Teacher Susan (AI). She says a lot of difficult things that I struggle to understand. Finally, these are my hair care and makeup products. I use most of them daily, depending on my mood. I mainly go for the pink one in the middle. And these are my latest top makeup products. The yellow ones look so cute. I bought the star-shaped shiny silver one to apply some of it to my décolletage at the Ghibli concert but then I completely forgot to do it.

This is a continuation from the Talk Corner in the latest issue of my fan club bulletin. My diagnosis story ended with me visiting an ENT specialist due to a feeling of pressure in my ears. There, I ended up receiving a shocking diagnosis from the doctor that I might be experiencing hay fever😇 Unable to accept this sudden reality, I grabbed my prescription and headed to the pharmacy, feeling anxious. When I entered the pharmacy feeling depressed, I was greeted by two female pharmacists with kind smiles.
Pharmacist 1 (hereinafter referred to as Pharma1): "This is a prescription for an allergy medicine. Do you suffer from hay fever?" Wakana (hereinafter referred to as W): "Yes…it seems like I'm making hay fever debut..." Pharma1+Pharma2: (with a big smile in unison) "Ohhh! Welcome to our world! \(^o^)／" 😂 Pharma1: "Don't worry. It will go away if you take this medicine. Also, the doctor didn't prescribe anything strong so I don't think you're struggling with serious symptoms." Pharma2: "These days, there are many ways to deal with hay fever so you really don’t need to worry!" W: "Thank you…😭" (What a relief *sobs* Along with the pressure in my ears, I sometimes got itchy eyes. I had been prescribed eye drops, but the pharmacists told me there was a ``eye drop-type eye wash'' that they recommended. I asked them to introduce it to me. ) Pharma1: "Well, that girl from one of the something-something~zaka bands is doing a commercial for it." Pharma2: "That’s right, the one from the ~Zaka group!." Pharma1: "What's their name again? There are too many already!" Pharma2: "Hmm, yes, I wonder which group it was…" W: " Ugh, sorry, I'm not familiar with the group...'' (← I wasn't able to follow their conversation and had to give a vague answer. The two of them kept trying to remember the group's name instead of trying to figure out the girl's name from the commercial. By the way, the correct answer was Erika Ikuta from the first group, Nogizaka46.)
This is the eyewash that was recommended. In the morning, usuallly use something else to wash my eyes but the two pharmacists said this eye wash was even better😳 Now, after washing my face in the morning and before putting in my contacts, I always use this "Well Wash EYE"! ←It kind of looks like in the commercial. Of course, you can also use it as a sort of eye drop when you are out and about, so I keep it in my bag 😊
Anyway, I was very anxious about experiencing my very first hay fever, but thanks to the two kind pharmacists my future is looking bright! ! 😊 . . . . As for my current condition, I think the hay fever has completely gone away🤣🤣🤣 I no longer need to take allergy medicine every night 😂 Sometimes my eyes mysteriously swell, when I went to the allergist, I was prescribed the same medicine as last time, so I think I'll keep it on hand in case something flares up again. It was a short experience with hay fever...🥺😂 However, it may be a seasonal thing and the symptoms may appear again in the future! If that happens, I will remember those kind pharmacists and get through it! ! ･:*+.\(( °ω° ))/.:+
Now, I'll post some pictures from the "Selfie Challenge" that I talked about in my last "Talk Garden" episode! [Note: A fan asked her to post more pictures of herself on Instagram since it's mostly flowers and the sky XD] Ughhh, it's so difficult... I don't even know what to do with my face. Ohhhh! I never thought I'd hear Keiko sing Linda Ronstadt's "Desperado" (I really like a lot of Linda's work; Update: Apparently Linda’s version isn’t the original. Sorry! I’m clueless when it comes to American music🙈). Needless to say, I am obsessed!! Apparently, this was a suggestion by her music director Asami Sakata (the one Keiko keeps referring to as "Asami-chan" – you can see her commenting in the live chat).
Keiko also mentioned that she had originally planned to go on a little overseas trip during April but due to her ongoing skin issues, she decided against it. Right now she is like a turtle staying tucked in her shell to protect herself.
On a side note, the live ended very abruptly so don't be surprised by the sudden cut-off in the video.
Here's the last episode in this month's series of Keiko’s Cover Collection. This time she will be singing a famous ballad by a singer/actress who has been active for many years.
