Hiya! I was trying to use theme #29, (tried #33 too) and tumblr won't save the theme :( I did all the steps right, but tumblr comes up with "Uh oh! We couldn't save your theme. Looks like your custom theme references assets from non-HTTPS URLs. Please try again using only HTTPS URLs." Not quite sure how to fix this?
Yeah, looks like tumblr did a Thing again ...

Fix Tumblr’s new controls!
I have come up with 3 ways you can fix the tumblr controls on your blog:
The icons used in version 1 and 2 are outicons. All of my themes have been updated and you can now choose between all three of these option.

okay - this little solution is courtesy of the super eagle-eyed ku-tte (<3) who had been poking at one of my themes because some animated text just – well wasn’t animating. i couldn’t for the life of me figure it out - the code was fine, they hadn’t changed anything… so why wasn’t it working!?
well - it just so happens that ku-tte is a new blog… and now tumblr has taken to turning on SSL be default. you’ve possibly never noticed it before - but it’s a switch in your settings that looks like this, and has this description…
‘if you’ve modified your theme it might cause problems. Try it, and if it makes your tumblr look funny, just come back and disable it.’
well, thanks tumblr. or maybe, y’know - don’t go ahead and pre-select options for me but… whatevs. ANYWHOO. this is the solution.
it’s very likely the problem isn’t with your code. and that your theme-maker is scratching their head trying to solve a problem they can’t see. if they paste their code into an old blog of theirs to test it, likely that little switch wouldn’t have been available/default, so they still won’t see it!!! grr…
TURN OFF THE SWITCH - and all of those nifty little scripts and codes in your shiny theme will work just fine!
nb/ this is mainly an issue with NEW blogs where tumblr has changed the defaults in settings!
**THEME MAKERS** - if you’re using scripts, it might be useful to make a note that new blogs will need to switch off the SSL encryption!

I suppose this has been a long time coming, so I might as well make it official. I’m not going anywhere, my themes are still available and you can still use and edit them to your heart’s content, but in case something breaks (or tumblr breaks something again), I won’t be able to help out for the time being. I simply don’t have the time or the energy right now to deal with it, especially since I’ve already answered about 95% of the questions I get on a daily basis and people are just too lazy to look. It gets kind of frustrating after a while and I’ve been doing this for years, I just really need a break.
So, if you need help, please take a look at

b) the answered questions for your theme
or try Google in case you don’t find anything there. If you still don’t have a solution after that, I’m really, really sorry. You’ll either have to figure it out yourself or find a new theme :(
This will be temporary and I am still lowkey working on a new theme whenever I have a bit of time. And if you sent me a nice message sometime during the past month, rest assured that I have read it and that it made my day <3 thank you so much for your continuing support and hopefully I’ll see you all after this little hiatus!

Just wanted to say I really, really love your themes. I like to change my theme often but in the end I always come back to one of yours; they're so neat and achieve a perfect balance between practicality and aesthetics.

I just want to say that I always loved your themes and recently while working on a new theme for my blog I had been looking for a theme with two titles and all I could think of was your 'Except You're Boring' theme, which has been a long standing favorite of mine, and ended up playing with and using it instead of finding a theme a little more suited to my type of blog. I love how it came out and it just shows how customizable your themes are, so thanks. :)

Hi there! I recently stumbled across your theme "Here Lies The Abyss". Does it support 700px images (without blurring them) or does it scale everything to 500px?
It always scales everything to 500px, I’m afraid. It’s just how tumblr’s post sizing thing works.

Hello! I've come across a strange issue with theme #029. I've just noticed that the ask text from posted asks is now a 16pt font, rather than the usual 11pt. I can't seem to find where to fix it in the code, and the strangest thing is, I've copy/pasted the whole theme to my test blog, sent a couple of asks and the issue isn't there! I've changed nothing at all recently, and I've used this theme for months. It just seems to started happening today, and I have no idea why. :(
Yeah, apparently a couple of people have this issue with different themes (I’ve also seen a couple of complaints from people with themes of other theme makers on my dash) and after not editing anything for a while, so I’m guessing tumblr did something that fucked something up and I’m hoping they’ll fix it on their own because I’m leaving for my christmas holidays in a bit and I won’t have the time to look at codes and work out a fix.
That said, trying to re-install the theme might help (although since it’s tumblr, probably not ... still, maybe worth a try).
I’ll be back in the new year and if it’s still not fixed by then, I’ll figure it out. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Hello! :) I am using one of your beautiful themes and recently a person told me that they couldn't follow me because the follow button on the top right wasn't showing up. Also the reblog-button on the top right stopped showing up. I noticed it's only with this theme, though, I'm using another theme of yours on a sideblog and it's working just fine. Sure, you can change and edit the themes as much as you want, as long as you don’t remove the credit link it’s all fine :)
Just as a suggestion I think that is theme #30 you should make the title appear next to the icon in the bar all the way at the top! I really love your themes I'm using #29 for this blog and #30 for my band blog! Well done honestly!
Well, you can always edit the themes to your own liking and put the title wherever you want ;) personally I just find it more aesthetically pleasing like this.
