"This place isn't as bad as I thought." Gail mused as he sat down on the dark red king sized bed. "So erm you aren't mad about this too much right? Or that y'know I might now be the Prince of the Vampires and Hell? Boy what a title."

“It’s hell, Gail. I’m sure it’s plenty bad if y’know where t’look.” He rubbed his face and tugged on his hair a little in agitation. “I couldn’t give a shite about yer new title, s’long as y’don’t let it get t’yer head. The only thing I’m mad about is if this is all we’re gonna do. Sit here every bleedin’ day and wait for the end o’ the world t’happen. It’s drivin’ me nuts.

 Gail blinked and smiled over at Aedan before giving him a shy wave. “Hey babe! Oh yeah! Ady, this is Shadow. Shadow this is Aedan.” The curly haired brunette knelt down and turned the sleepy puppy around, plopping the chubby pup up so it could look up at it’s new co-parent. The pup gave a sleepy yawn and cocked it’s head at the Hunter before getting up on wobbly feet and trotting over to Aedan and sitting on top of his foot. The Hybrid giggled softly. “He’s a lazy boy. Go ahead and pick him up. He doesn’t bite.”

Aedan watched the hound as it made it’s way over. It didn’t look frightening - quite the opposite - but Aedan had long ago learned looks were deceiving. This thing would grow up to be a hound of hell, and on earth it would be invisible to them - no good could come of it, Aedan was sure. When the creature sat atop his foot he simply looked down at it, before back at Gail. “Nah… Nah, I’m alright.” He slowly pulled his foot out from beneath the considerable weight of the small hound, and stepped further into their room, hoping to read and relax before bed. “Keep it, by all means, Gail. But it’ll be yours.

 Gail frowned and looked away before the chubby pup waddled back over to Gail who caught him in his arms and gently pet through his soft black coat. He frowned down at the puppy who gave out a sleep yawn and nuzzled the back of it’s neck with his nose. “Is he so different from me Aedan? Is that how you see me too? I look cute right now but what? I’m gonna become a bloodthirsty monster? Like you picture him?” The puppy whined softly. “I’m going out.” With a tired sigh, he cradled the little dog in his arms and made a move for the door.

 Aedan passed only a few demons on his stroll through hell - a thought which was still somewhat surreal to him - though the demons he did pass he shot a look or two at. He was getting better at calming his anger around them, but still took some satisfaction in the knowledge that with his grace gem around his neck he could not be touched. As much as he’d like to fight them. After a long walk of cooling his head, he finally made his way back to the room he shared with Gail, only to find the boy sat on the bed with a fat black creature at his feet, which Aedan could only guess was a hellhound. He stopped in the doorway and stared before simply saying, “Well. Y’work fast.”

 Gail blinked and smiled over at Aedan before giving him a shy wave. “Hey babe! Oh yeah! Ady, this is Shadow. "I get the feeling my dad's been bugging you a lot." Gail chuckled softly as he wrapped his arms around his lover, letting his head rest against the others shoulder some. "I'm sorry. He's too protective now for his own good. I'm almost missing the days we didn't know the other was alive." The brunette joked. "Want me to tell him to bug off?"

“What makes y’say that?” he murmurs from his position at the table, feeling Gail wrap his arms around him and rest his head on his shoulder. He sighs and puts his book down, letting his hands run over Gail’s arms. “I s’pose– I just feel like he’s always on me back. Our backs. Sayin’ shite t’me that’s absolutely none o’ his feckin’ business.”

 “I just think that means he likes you.” Gail chuckled and let his hand run down both sides of his lovers chest, lightly poking the gentle blue glowing crystal around the others neck. “He thinks I’m some little kid. He doesn’t get we can take care of ourselves. Besides you aren’t his problem. He’s a king or whatever. I’m pretty sure he should be taking care of his own crap. Not ours.” The brunette lent in and kissed Ady’s cheek lovingly. “Don’t let him get to you babe.”

“And you’re…” The King mirrored the tilt mockingly “Rude.” A rather serious accusation in his own books. “Greet all of your superiors like that do you, pipsqueak?”

 “Yes he has, but I can get us in. I have my Grandfather’s second device. It can only be unwarded with it.” Gail explained, patting something under his collar with a faint smile before looking back up at Crowley. He watched the Demon King with a slight uncomfortable stance. What was with guys with British accents making him unereved? For goodness sake his Father was British….
 And then all the sounds. Gail didn’t move. Didn’t say anything. Just stood there, pale and fisting his hands at his sides. Those god awful sounds would disturb him long after all this was over. Those screams, that sorrow. It would make even Angels weak at the knees to hear. Even after Crowley spoke the Hybrid said nothing. It wasn’t but a few minutes later did he find his composure enough to say anything at all. “H-Horrible.” Gail whispered quietly. “…Which is why I won’t be joining my Father.” The brunette looked away, ignoring the turmoil in his heart now. “I will bring you to dad. Make sure he’s safe…but I’m staying topside. I-I don’t care what happens to me. Dad is the priority anyways. Besides with Gramps Grace, I should be able to distract that monster thing while you two get the hell out of there. I won’t take part in this place. Not ever. I don’t care if these souls deserve it…I just can’t stand it. No offence.”

“I prefer to be able to get in on my own, makes getting out a guarentee too.” He commented as he sipped his whiskey quite happily. “You having one of two devices suggests that if I want to leave, it will have to be on agreeable terms, rendering whatever my answer might be powerless.” And the King did not like to be powerless, not after the Winchesters, not after Sam tried to turn him human, not after they trapped him in a dark room on his own for months. He noticed the uncomfortable stance but made no move to make fun of it, but he was thinking of using it to his advantage.

Watching him deal with the sounds of Hell was more than entertaining to Crowley and he thought perhaps he should just remove the wards every time he had visitors. “None taken.” About the offense. “But how do you think your father will change if he’s here? To me, that chorus was a symphony composed by my most skilled workers in their field, quite literally, it is music to my ears.” He took several steps towards him, though they were measured and at an easy pace while he enjoyed his whiskey. “Do you know why? It’s because I don’t have a soul, I sold it to Hell long ago. The Darkness, I’m sure would much prefer to eat human souls, they are the brightest after all. Your father still has a soul, when he dies, he’s ushered off to Purgatory. He’s still corruptible.”

 “Fine...and what?” At the mention of his Father the boy blinked in confusion. “Tsk, corruptible my ass, it’s a little too late on that train wreck” He muttered under his breath. The daddy issues were strong in this one. “In my opinion humans should just be left alone..but neither of you guys seem to get the memo.” Gail grumbled. “You both use them to your own delight. Both you and my father.” The brunette shoved his hands into his pockets and looked away from Crowley, scowling at the wall. “I’m only helping him because...because he’s blood...the only one left I have. You two were meant for each other....” The Hybrid huffed.

 “Just...do whatever you want. The both of you.” With that he turned to leave, already done with this whole place. “I told you where he is. I did my job here. Now excuse me I have to find a way to stop this Darkness...”

 “It’s alright. It’s always alright.” Gail murmured, nuzzling against his lover with a timid happy smile. It’s been so long but so worth it. He squeezed Aden’s hand, bringing it to his lips to gently kiss his knuckles. “I love you.”

“It’s not,” he mutters. “I appreciate y’stickin’ around me and I should show it more often.” He pressed his nose into Gail’s hair before his knuckles were touched by the hybrid’s mouth. “Help me make it up t’ye.” He smiled and rested his free hand on the nape of Gail’s neck tenderly.

 “You don’t owe me anything...just being close makes me happy.” Gail murmured, feeling over the mans chest and giggling at the warmth of his own Grace hanging around Ady’s neck. It was warm. Happy even. “I don’t want anything. I don’t need anything...just you.” He whispered, kissing Aedan’s neck sheepishly.

Gail blushed a shy red and did as he was told. Wit h a sigh of utter relief, he lent forward, against Aedan’s side, the hands intertwine between them and Gail’s head resting on his Hunter’s shoulder.

Wrapping an arm around the hybrid, Aedan pulled him close, only now realizing how long it had been since he’d done so. “I’m sorry fer neglectin’ ye, boyo. Just had a lot on me mind is all.”

 The King gave a small nod, not confirmation of agreement, more confirmation that he heard. “And has he warded his catacombs?” He asked, brow raised at the boy. “It would be the first thing I would do if I knew there was a soul eating monster coming after me.” He gave a smirk and ended up chuckling.
“You see, I am at odds.” He spread his arms wide to encourage Gail to look at him. “I have an agreement with your father not to harm any vampires or allow my kind to cause similar damage. And you’re right, Hell has a wealth of souls beyond your comprehension.” The demon lifted the muffling wards that he had set in his office, allowing the chorus of generations of souls being tortured to seep in around them, there were the loud huffs and groans of those stuck in the queue and the panicked calls of those in the cells in the third circle not to mention the almost unhuman noises (though faint) coming from the lower six circles that the King did not discuss with outsiders. Just a brief moment where he relished in the sounds and went to pour himself a glass of whiskey before replacing the wards with a wave of his hand.
“How do you feel after hearing those sounds?” He asked him as he took a sip, eyes raking over him.
 “Yes he has, but I can get us in. I have my Grandfather’s second device. It can only be unwarded with it.” Gail explained, patting something under his collar with a faint smile before looking back up at Crowley.  “He says he’s willing to give you the only known spell that can protect a pocket realm from being found by the Darkness!” Gail said quickly as Crowley passed. “Without it sooner or later no matter what, the Darkness will still come for this place. It’s the only known spell to ward an entire realm from the Darkness, created by the Archangels themselves to protect Heaven from the ever assumed attack from the Darkness.” The brunette explained. “His source was from an Archangel itself. My Grandfather and his Father-In-Law Zadkiel the Archangel of Forgiveness.”
 “Sander told me not to tell you this unless no other means worked.” The boy pleaded. “If you let him stay here you have a chance of protecting your realm from this thing. Cause even you can’t stop this.” He said firmly. “Without the spell this place is a ticking time bomb. It eats souls man, and even though tainted you hold a whole lot here. It will come.” Gail advised. “But my dad has the only means of keeping it as protected as Heaven. Your choice.”

He raised his brow, turned and leaned towards him slightly, his jaw shifting in consideration as his mind was ticking and working things out. “It serves as some interest that your father is the only being that has this information with him.” Accusation and with no attempt to hide it either.

“Where is Sander now?” He half demanded, neglecting to address anything of the suggestions and even truth of the matter that his realm was currently in danger, but he had more allies than others seemed to remember and it was often how the King of Hell got out of such tight situations or struggles. “Where has he decided to hide?”

 “My Grandfather and my Father have a tight relationship. They both protect me too.” Gail shrugged. “It’s only natural Gramps wants us safe. Zadkiel trust nobody else but us.” He explained. “As for dad, he resides in the catacombs under his mansion. I and him are the only ones not totally affected yet. I guess because of Gramps influence.”
