Shogoweek Day 4 Maestro

Using a song for inspiration for some kind of art, I happened to listen to Ghosts n'Stuff by Deadmau5

But I just wanna play it right, We are gonna get there tonight It’s been so far, I’ve been walking the line on my own Lift me up to the stars, we are coming home I only had a taste but we’re out of time We have sold in the cold, physical design Set me free, set me out on the run Lift me up to the sun, to the…

Shogoweek Day 6, Asymptomatic, Null, Void, Zero

I was playing around with the concept of shapes and I like the idea of zero as well as circular shapes going hand in hand with eternity. Shogo Makishima is my forever guy haha

Shogoweek Day 2: Bloom

Actually, I think many different flowers work well with Shogo, but I’ve done a variety of them before. This time I went with a red poppy.

I drew this on Thursday during a LS with @ooriens but I have been so busy with everything I couldn’t finish until now. I do have more things in the workings but I’m sorry they’re probably going to be late as well… > _

Hello and welcome to another year of ShogoWeek!

We apologize for the slight delay in getting your prompt list and dates out but here they are! Last year was a ton of fun and we loved seeing everyone’s contributions so step up, tell your friends, and let’s celebrate our favorite mullet on the week of his (assumed, thanks PP Committee) birthday!
The week starts October 14th, feel free to do all the prompts or pick an choose and don’t forget to follow us so you can see all the contributions!
Remember to tag your entries with #ShogoWeek and #ShogoWeek2016 so we can find and reblog them!

Prompt List:

1. Happy Birthday - Celebrate Shogo Makishima’s existence with any form of creative contribution befitting our favorite asymptomatic!

 2. Bloom - Not all language is spoken word; one’s floral choice also speaks volumes. Beautiful flowers may eventually wither and fall, but their messages carry on. Pick a flower (or two), study its meaning, and allow inspiration to bloom.

 3. Alternates - What if Shogo had lived in another time? What if he had lived in a world where magic exists? There are many unexplored ‘what ifs’ to explore. We are powerful in that we are creators of these alternate, parallel universes which allow Shogo to so strongly persist in our imaginations. Share your favorites, your thoughts and your worlds with us.

 4. Maestro - “If music be the food of love, play on…” Nourish yourself (and possibly your love of Shogo Makishima) with some music. Allow a song to inspire a creation, create a playlist, or even write your own song! You are the conductor of this symphony~

 5. Free Will - Exercise your free will; we promise this isn’t a Sophie’s choice. : )

6. Asymptomatic - Zero; Null, Void, Nothing, Eternity. How one defines zero is a matter of… perspective. Allow Makishima’s Criminal Coefficient to permeate your contribution this day. You may pick any of his coefficient numbers mentioned in S1 or choose to focus on his clear hue to inspire a creative work.

7. Connect - An uplifting end to Shogoweek and to Shogo’s 'solitude’; Pick your favorite Shogo ship and have fun!
