falls asleep on the couch:

Raava walks through the door, brushing her fingers through her hair. She notices Wan fast asleep on the couch, splayed all over the cushions, homework strewn on the floor. Grabbing the blanket on the couch, she covers him with it, kisses his forehead and heads to the kitchen to make coffee.

makes friends with the neighbors:

Wan rushes over to help a woman struggling with her groceries, the contents almost spilling out."Here, I got it,""Oh, thank you!" she exclaims, "Such a nice, young man,"Raava observes the scene, thinking she should help too, but he handles it well enough alone. And she’s not very chatty with anyone else on the block.

is the adventurous eater:

"You are going to get sick," she tells him."If you can handle it, I can,""It’s too spicy,""But not for you?""Not at all."Wan pouts before asking if he can try.Raava relents.As he drinks his sixth cup of water, she continues eating her meal.

hogs the covers at night:

Raava prods him in the middle of the night, “Wan, you’re hogging the blankets,”"Sorry," he mutters, turning on his side and wrapping his arm over her, pulling her in close, "I can be your blanket,"She smiles, “You’ll suffice,”

forgets to do the dishes:

"Wan, dear, have I ever told you how much I adore you?""Shit, I’m sorry! I forgot the dishes again, I’ll get right on it!""Thank you, sweetie!""…Please stop, that’s weird."

tries to surprise their partner more often:

Raava enters the house, completely exhausted. She heads to the living room, before pausing in surprise. “Wan, what’s this?”"Hey, welcome home!" he answers, "You’ve looked pretty tired the past couple days, I thought you’d want to relax,"She glances about the room: popcorn is settled in the middle of the table, caffeinated drinks abound, and a pile of movies in the corner."What are we watching?" she asks.He whips out a horror film.She grins, “I am pleased. Though you managing not to make a mess is the biggest surprise.”"Ha ha, go change so we can watch blood splatter everywhere,"

leaves dirty laundry on the floor:

Glancing down at the floor, Wan says, “Ya know, for someone who says I should be cleaner, you sure leave underwear lying around everywhere,”Raava shrugs, “They are only clothes, which I always pick up eventually anyway. And, for the record, you are often the one taking them off me.”

stays up til 2 AM reading:

Yellow light softly floods her corner of the bed, reading her novel quietly. Wan snuggles into her side, yawning before drifting off to sleep. Raava glances at the clock, not the least bit tired. She keeps reading, well into the night. 

sings in the shower:

Wan and Raava perform liberating beautiful ballads of epicness in the shower together, and no story will ever be able to explain the sheer magnitude of awesomeness that it is.

takes the selfies:

plans date night:

"Raava, where are we going?""You always plan the date nights. Tonight, I’m doing it."Wan smiles, blushing, “Aw, I appreciate it. But you didn’t have to do that,”"I’m sure you’ll like it when we arrive,"The car drive is quiet, Wan staring out the vast darkness in curiosity. Raava glances at him, wondering when and how she fell for him so deeply, and why, of all things. He’s certainly not the type she thought he’d fall for.They pull up to an obscure section of forest, a distant sound rumbling through the air. Wan inclines his head, perplexed. She takes his hand and leads him through, until they come across a secluded area filled with people, a haze of smoke above the crowd and a band setting up to play on a stage."You brought me to a random concert in the middle of nowhere?""Yes," she answers, beaming.”And it smells like weed! You’re the best girlfriend ever!”He rushes over to a group, already amiable with complete strangers; she takes her time to walk over, watching his face light up, the dark circles beneath them just a bit less present, and he whoops loudly with the rest of them as the first note of music plays.No, he’s certainly not what she thought she’d fall for, she thinks, as she comes up to his side and he unconsciously pulls her in; but he’s hers.
