I know how hard it is to talk about Jesus. It’s the most awkward conversation you’ll ever have. If you even say the whole Gospel out loud right now, it sounds like the craziest thing you’ve ever heard. But the Gospel isn’t some ‘speech’ you unload on people and then ‘leave it in God’s hands.’ Blasting people with theology is like serving icing for dessert. Evangelism is your whole life, it’s sharing your home, it’s enduring patiently, it’s being a human being, it’s availability, it’s sharing Jesus through who you are; not perfectly, but passionately. Yes, invite them to church and to that revival and talk about your faith and your testimony, but once you dare to go there, just know you might be rejected immediately, a lot, and aggressively. Except secretly they can’t deny there must be something to it, because you’re not just a billboard: you’re an overflow of a barely containable supernatural miracle.

And I'll praise you in this storm, and I will lift my hands For You are who You are no matter where I am And every tear I've cried You hold in Your hand You've never left my side And though my heart is torn I will praise you in this storm

Jesus saw the crowds. So he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him. Then he began to teach them.

He said,

“Blessed are those who are spiritually needy.

The kingdom of heaven belongs to them.

Blessed are those who are sad.

    They will be comforted.

Blessed are those who are humble.

They will be given the earth.

Blessed are those who are hungry and thirsty for what is right.

    They will be filled.

Blessed are those who show mercy.

    They will be shown mercy.

Blessed are those whose hearts are pure.

    They will see God.

Blessed are those who make peace.

They will be called children of God.

Blessed are those who suffer for doing what is right.

The kingdom of heaven belongs to them.

“Blessed are you when people make fun of you and hurt you because of me. You are also blessed when they tell all kinds of evil lies about you because of me.

Be joyful and glad. Your reward in heaven is great. In the same way, people hurt the prophets who lived long ago.

Hello, a non believer asked me why do God allow innocent children to die of famine or allowing all the terrible things happen in this world if he's the God of love? I never have the answer to this question how would you answer it?

This is one of the main arguments of non-believers. This is a real difficulty, but atheism is certainly not the answer. The simplest answer to this question is sin and consequently the distance from God. If God is not the author of tragedy or evil or death, so where did they come from? Well, God has existed from eternity past as the Father, Son and Spirit, together in a relationship of perfect love. So love is the highest value in the universe. And when God decided to create human beings, he wanted us to experience love. But to give us the ability to love, God had to give us free will to decide whether to love or not to love. Why? Because love always involves a choice. So in order for us to experience love, God bestowed on us free will. But unfortunately, we humans have abused our free will by rejecting God and walking away from Him. And that has resulted in the introduction the evil, that’s is the immorality and pain and suffering and tragedy that come because we choose to be selfish, arrogant, uncaring, hateful and abusive. Romans 3:23 says “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”So much of the world’s suffering results from the sinful action or inaction of ourselves and others. For example, people look at a famine and wonder where God is, but the world produces enough food for each person to have 3,000 calories a day. It’s our own irresponsibility and self-centeredness that prevents people from getting fed.

However, we can never give a complete answer to this question simply because we cannot stand in the shoes of God, we don’t have God’s mind. We don’t see with God’s eyes. First Corinthians 13:12 says, “Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.”Jesus was honest. He told us the truth. He said in John 16:33, “You will have suffering in this world.” He didn’t say you might – he said it is going to happen. The world is now under God’s Curse (Genesis 3:17) because of man’s rebellion against God’s Word. This “bondage of corruption,” with the “whole world groaning and travailing together in pain” (Romans 8:21-22), is universal, affecting all men and women and children everywhere. God did not create the world this way, and one day will set all things right again. In that day, “God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain” (Revelation 21:4). x x
