Hello! Don’t worry about not knowing I don’t judge you, besides I don’t think people are really talking about it anymore, it was a big deal the year they did that tho lmaoIt’s not really something that I can elaborate on publicly under the content safety principle I have on this blog but in a modern context the song has uh.... bad connotations. Essentially, given that it was a hot topic at that point and that it got us accused of supporting certain unsavory things, we really should have asked them to switch the song they were using to not give the wrong idea, regardless of individual perspectives on its real meaning.

Basically it’s a good idea for the show runners to figure stuff out before hand to avoid that kind of awkward situation

Word of caution to anyone in XIV fandom running RP events involving performances: Review what your performers are doing before the event

I still remember when a rp fc I was in came under fire bc 2 of our members decided to dance to baby it's cold outside and nobody stopped them (most of us had no idea what they were planning sdkjgdflh )

While you’re grinding please remember to be courteous to party members in leveling dungeons 15-71 Classes have changed a lot and there’s a lot to do in the expansion and for some people it might be their first time stepping into a dungeon since things changed Consider that people might need a few minutes to reorient themselves before being angry about how they’re playing
