Allow me to settle the "sex scenes in movies" discourse asap: sex scenes in movies are bad when I don't like them and they're good when I do like them. Hope this clears things up.
and this one’s called: i love being in my 20′s!
“I’m almost 50, and here is the best thing I have learned so far: every strange thing you’ve ever been into, every failed hobby or forgotten instrument, everything you have ever learned will come back to you, will serve you when you need it. No love, however brief, is wasted.” @louisethebaker on Twitter
No love, however brief, is wasted.
y’all remember being 15? That was fucked up
literally everything always feels like a performance to me. i'll be uncontrollably sobbing and will suddenly be like wow i would've won an oscar for this
I was v confused when they smushed the leaves, but then about halfway thru the q tips it started coming back together
Why dont you go watch a studio ghibli movie and think about the power of love and kindness and maybe you'll calm down
Valentine’s day is NOT a day for lovers, couples, or people in relationships. Valentine’s day is exclusively for elementary school students who each buy their entire class cute little cards with cartoon characters on them, messily scrawl their classmates names there as an act of love, and give them a tiny little candy packet.
that is the height of the holiday.
as someone who lives far away from any mountains this just doesn’t even seem real
Yeah… it’s just not realistic
Pretty sure that just the way the Swiss Alps are.
followers who show up regularly in my notifications: i see you and i appreciate you so much
I like things that suck and are uncool
me: the barbie movies provide us with a vast sample of complex stories and relationships to analyze. in barbie and the diamond castle, for instance, the protagonists are forced to examine the conflict between their moral duty to the collective and their interpersonal bonds. in barbie and the three musketeers, viewers are asked to question a patriarchal monarchy against the backdrop of a pre-Revolution france. furthermore, the entire screen is readily available for us to analyze, as in animation, every little detail is one hundred percent intentional. we can even structure critiques around an expansive cinematic universe: who is barbie? what is her goal in life? to what extent does her identity revolve around her occupation? is she truly a free being?
