'Temae' For Gallery Nucleus' Legend of Korra Tribute Exhibition

As many already correctly guessed, this is an illustration of Raava in Wan’s teapot. I got the inspiration for this after seeing cleared and stained specimens. Especially the illuminated ones. I couldn’t help thinking Raava and Vaatu both look like skeletons and what a glowing skeleton inside a clear body made of light would look like. So here it is, a very elaborate tea ceremony.

This is magnificent! I am a HUGE admirer of Sachin’s art, and he is a super cool person. Psyched to see him do more Korra pieces.

Haha, today is a busy day for me :B Here’s my piece for the Legend of Korra show being held in a few weeks by Gallery Nucleus. ATLA and Korra both are very close to my heart, so when they asked me to contribute I was completely floored. I had no idea what to do because there is way too much that I wanted to do. I ended up with this, Season 4 Korra meditating quietly in the Spirit Wilds district of Republic City. I was going for a Ghibli\Oga Kazuo flavor, I only hope I did the show justice :)  It was a great ride, Brian and Mike! Thanks for the shows.
