don’t question the beauty of this world - especially in the moments when darkness consumes you. the beauty is always there, you just have to have a greater desire to see the beauty rather than the darkness.
have you ever experienced hardships in life and when you’re feeling lost and broken, you find yourself being filled with light in a moment where you would least expect? driving down the road, I came past a bend and I saw this amazing scene - though not the most magical thing I have ever experienced, it still filled the most empty parts of my being with the radiating light from the sky, and for a moment I felt whole again.

the truth of the matter is, you are going to be hurt - life is going to hit all time lows, and you are going to experience moments where you want to give up. but in the mess and the chaos of life, you experience the most incredible moments. moments of beauty, moments of grace, and moments of realization and self discovery and with that, we pick ourselves up. we embrace those moments and we allow them to fill the emptiest parts of our being. and even if only for a single moment, we are whole again.
the search for something bigger than yourself - it is both beautiful and terrifying. sometimes you are blessed and the universe delivers you something beautiful, and sometimes you are handed hardships and you are forced to overcome those adversities. even in the hardest of moments, when it seems like you cannot overcome it and that you will fail; trust, have faith and receive the light of the universe and allow it to lead you.
the beauty of this life is not just the physical beauty we experience, it's the way in which people and places make us feel in the moment that we first embrace them.
& when I met you,
it brought this radiating light

Follow your heart, without question and without reason. Listen to the beauty it speaks to you and embrace yourself in its honest truths.
This beautiful universe has a plan for you. Whether you know it or not, and whether you trust it or not, it does. Every single detail of your life is perfectly planned and without question, is directing you to a greater good. The sadness, it has a purpose. It allows you to gain perspective. Just as we would not know light without darkness, we cannot know happiness without sadness. Trust in the universe. Trust that everyday you are moving towards a greater good, even if it does not seem like it at the moment.
The reality of it is, this life, it is filled with things that we cannot control, and things we don't feel equipped to deal with.. Yet, somehow, someway, we awake every morning with a clearer perspective and it might not be easy, but we get out of bed and we persevere.. Even when we don't want to. That is how we show our truest, deepest parts of our soul. We wake up, even when we don't want to, and we embrace another day. And inevitably, things just start getting easier.
Here we are. This is life; within the beautiful simplicities, we should choose to breathe it in and acknowledge heartache and breathe it out.
Have you ever taken a moment to think about the fact that when you are surrounded by hundreds of people that there was a desire and a pull that brought you all to the same place at the same time.. Magical isn't it? That people from around the world gather together and for a moment we are apart of one another's journey whether we realize it or not.
And we take a moment to reflect upon our life, we realize that the people who did us wrong are perhaps the people who we should be the most grateful for. Those are the people who forces us to grow in adversities and make us change how we see the world. We don't always understand this when those moment come, but that growth is what turns us into the people we are meant to be. It's just another reminder that we should be grateful for even the most unfortunate circumstances, because life is beautiful.
Life is all about perspective and how you choose to see the earth that surrounds you.
There is so much more beauty that is present around us than we give this world credit for; we are constantly surrounded by an inspiring, natural and simple beauty, and if we let it, that beauty can fill the most empty spaces of our being and allow us to begin to feel whole again.
You are not what has happened to you - you are how you react when something has happened to you. You can either face adversities and difficulties in your life head on, without hesitation, or you can allow it to define and destroy you. Remembering that the choice is yours is the real challenge - once that is manifested, you are unstoppable to take the world.
